BEWARE!! Called to seek info about my mentally impaired mother from her attorney, I am out of state. I have spoken to him before about her standing with the courts. But the last two times I have called no response. TODAY THE RUDEST PERSON Ive ever encountered on the phone works for JACOB LEVIN LAW. She answered, vocally irritated, I don't believe she even stated the company name just "HELO!!" on speaker phone. I said "hello", name and my reasoning for calling. She screamed at me"YOU cut ME off!!" When all I did was state my name, my mother's name and the reason for my call. She was so RUDE to me I had to ask her IF she was having a bad day? She replied "NO! And that her attitude is based off my introduction to her." She then said "I can't help you!" I said " Wait! You have before and I just would like clarification of her well-being" Again she was speaking down at me, laughed, then picked up the phone from speaker and told me shed "take my name but he is not there and he wont be back (today)!" ----I was shocked so I wrote this review---- I am Receptionist also, I to say that when we are busy.. I understand but when people need help, I do not push them off the phone. I AM CONSIDERATE TO ALL!! ITS LITERALLY YOUR JOB AND DUTY ON EARTH TO BE DECENT TO OTHERS!! I would never be rude to anyone seeking help and I do try my best to provide the UPMOST SUPPORT I can. HOW it upsets me that JACOB LEVIN IS A COURT APPOINTED LAWYER, HIS FIRM represents very vulnerable people that are already in jail, most facing hardships. Based off the other reviews, this is not the first complaint about the lack of accountability or empathy from JACOB LEVIN FIRM or the RECEPTIONIST AND those having faith in them have been ridiculed in the comment by JABOC LEVIN HIMSELF!! Have you had someone taken away? How do you speak down to mom that lost their child, that you represented? I would feel shame & say I tried my best, you belittled a mourning mother! JACOB LEVIN, you ever had to look for your mother at a park, leave your name at shelters and hope she isn't embarrassed or too impaired to reach out!? I hope not. Have you ever called public service offices in town, searching for her to hear your mother came in so hungry, a stranger offered her a granola bar out of her purse and it was the only thing she had eaten in a week!? I don't wish this on anyone and IF one day your family member became lost in a world like my mother's, JACOB LEVIN, I wish you nothing but sympathy! It is so hard to call strangers to know if she is ALIVE or at least had food and water that day! AND sorry that person right now is YOU!! I regret reaching out to you, as a human you failed. **WOW THE LAWYER CALLED ME BACK AND SAID THAT HE WOULD NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT MY MOTHER UNLESS I REMOVED THIS REVIEW*** What unethical behavior by JACOB LEVIN, this person is trusted with people's lives! He was not bothered by his Receptionist behavior only that I posted a review and sent a fax to the office stating she was awarded a bad person award (FOR THE DAY, ITS TRUE FOR BOTH OF THEM) BOTH OF YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR BEHAVIOR TOWARDS A CONCERNED FAMILY! Doubt they want anything BUT a win under their belt for the JACOB LEVIN FIRM, even if that means an impaired, mentally unstable (yes she is educated but she is very ill) individual that needs care would not receive it or even be advised to accept help. JACOB would rather win and have her on the streets, using and starving and then say not his fault. YOU WOULD THINK if a family was eager to help, you would consider that a good thing!
