Jacob is a warm, friendly, caring, thorough and professional practitioner. He takes the time to understand the clients lifestyle, goals, history and needs to determine a path forward that compliments the individual. My mission is to provide the highest quality physiotherapy service to clients in Canmore and Banff. I'm passionate about two things in Physiotherapy: Evidence-based practice and my patients. My patients inspire me to provide the most comprehensive, individualized and effective treatment possible. With six years of University education, and over 20 post-graduate courses completed to date, I utilize the latest scientific evidence to diagnose musculoskeletal dysfunctions, and deliver cutting-edge treatment.

History

Established in 2013.

I began my career by completing an undergraduate degree at Acadia University, working as a Kinesiologist, and then completing a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy at Queen's University. I started my practice as a Physiotherapist in Ottawa, Ontario. After a year of working there, I moved to Calgary for two years where I worked in two Sports Physiotherapy clinics, and developed a Mobile Physiotherapy business. In 2016 I moved to Canmore, Alberta and am currently working as a clinician at One Wellness, and am operating the Mobile Physiotherapy business.

Jacob spends most of his leisure time playing in the mountains where you'll find him climbing (alpine, rock, ice) backcountry skiing, trail running, and cycling. In addition to enjoying these activities for their intended purpose, his understanding of these sports allows a better understand your injury, how your injury relates to your sport, and will improve the design your rehabilitation program.
