After speaking with Carla (who is absolutely horrible), I received a letter saying I would no longer be represented by Berman and would be removed from their platform entirely. Then they sent this unapproved payment to a debt collector. AVOID BERMAN AT ALL COSTS, THEY ARE ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. I found this approach unprofessional and frustrating. It's concerning when a firm tries to charge for services that were never outlined in an engagement letter, and the whole situation left a bad impression. Additionally, Carla was rude and dismissive throughout the process, making the experience even worse.
