If you are American you need to avoid this "Hotel" at all costs. My wife & I regretfully stayed…read morethere during the first week of May 2023. The hotel had a stench of cigarette smoke & filth. Their Front Desk manager, a balding skinny man with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth at all times, has no sense of customer service or hotel hospitality at all. Asking for any assistance or any other normal hotel guest requests; i.e., air conditioning, ice, directions, etc ...is met with a bad attitude, abrasive responses, and disrespectful tone of voice for the guests. When checking out of the hotel he did not ask, "how was our stay", but rather asked for immediate payment. He did not want payment in Euros, but wanted a credit card payment instead. When I ask him, in French, what was the problem, he immediately & reluctantly acquiesced and accepted our payment in euros. Something is wrong at this place.

Hotel Le Rivage The…read morehotel is located right on the banks of the River Loiret so the view from our room was beautiful. Definitely try to ask for a river view if you can. We had a family room which contained a double, single and room for a cot for our baby which was provided by the hotel (at a €15 cost which was a bit disappointing, the only hotel on this France trip who has charged a supplement for a baby cot). The main problem in my opinion was that while they were generally clean, the rooms and decor of the hotel was from a different era and quite tired and shabby in places. Not sure the hotel has seen much investment in at least 20 years. We didn't try the restaurant but it did look good, with many diners sat out on the river side terrace. Only a few minutes drive into Orleans itself which is well worth a visit.
