Funeral services are expected to provide comfort, ease and assistance to a family, but we were met with stressful, burdensome situations that compounded our existing grief and stress. These issues started with the picking up of the body from in-home hospice and did not stop until after we returned home from the burial. Unfortunately the process of funeralizing our loved one was not something we felt like we could change lanes on, so we felt like we had to proceed with using them. I have already spoken with the owner and let him know of our dissatisfaction begining with me being forced to assist in helping carry my loved one to the vehicle during initial pick up, preparation of the body, lack of professionalism of staff during viewing and funeral to name a few things. Having never received a call, leter, email or any correspondence from the owner to assure us that he has attempted to address any of these issues, we felt that it was prudent to take a proactive step to alert others. We could never, out of respect and love to any other loved one, entrust these services to this business ever again.

They tools really good care of her and our family. Here we are 22 years later using them again for my father. Ugh, that was hard to write. It's been a month. They were able to get the urns filled and given to us in a timely fashion even with covid. We were able to see my father before her was cremated. That was very much appreciated as I was unable to see him in ICU or on the hospice floor because of covid. I saw him, spoke to him and said my words to him. Blane and Tommy always spend time with my mom when she is there, and I know my mom is safe when they are there. On this Veteran's Day I just wanted to take a moment to remember my grandfather and thank the team…read moreover at Riverside Cemetery where he is buried. I went to visit his grave and noticed that it was unmarked, and apparently had been for the past 12 years. Brent Peeples and the team at Riverside were great. They helped me confirm the burial location and helped me obtain a military headstone for my grandfather who served as a Corporal in the Marines in Korea. I find peace in knowing that there is now a physical marker in honor of my grandfather, and I enjoy swinging by to visit his marker and remember him.
