Always a vibe at JackBeagles. Cool dive bar, no frills, great beer selection and the food always on point. Service is friendly and they will know your name. Today I had their cheese steak. The Stugots, which is a Philly cheese steak with pepperoni, onions, and lettuce/tomato. Have to say, pretty good! They also have the traditional cheese steak but with white cheddar not "with" my Philly folks now that Jawn (that's cheese wiz.) Real ribeye, no steakumms like other places that should remain nameless. All in all, JackBeagles stays true to their name, their food, and most importantly, the NoDa vibe. Eat local, support local

JackBeagles is one of those places you either adore or just don't get. At first glance, it has a gritty, lived-in charm with a bit of a rough-around-the-edges feel. The bathrooms are dim with black walls and playful graffiti, giving off a quirky, artsy vibe. The outdoor tables can feel a tad sticky, and the ground could use a good scrub, but that's all part of the experience and I sooo love this spot!! From the moment you walk in, the staff is very welcoming with such genuine warmth and friendliness--it's not the forced, overly polished greeting you find at other restaurants. Here, everyone feels like an old friend including other patrons, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes your visit special. The service is easily five stars. This is my fifth time here, and every visit has been met with consistently stellar service that keeps me coming back. That touch of Southern charm, paired with bright, heartfelt smiles, is pure magic. The food is just as delightful--tasty, well-priced, and served in generous portions. Their wings and Philly cheesesteaks are my go-to favorites, always hitting the spot. But from other reviews many other options also seem to be good as well. The huge patio, with its outdoor bar and stage for occasional live music, adds to the fun, lively energy. JackBeagles is truly a NoDa gem, bursting with character and an overall vibe that's hard to beat. SN: They also serve Brunch!

Every experience at this location is always great. You do have to have an understanding of what you're asking for (elevated dive bar perhaps but that's a vibe I like) but the food, service and drinks are always great. I personally think the wings are some of the best in Charlotte (value wise) and the basket of fries is worth the $4-5 in my opinion. I never ask for anything fancy when it comes to drinks (simple vodka soda or can beer) but those are always cold and crisp.

This place had great food and good prices, but they didn't have the ingredients to make an old-fashioned, which was a little disappointing, but after we got the food and looked out back and saw how cool the patio was with the heaters and the TVs and all the space we would definitely go back But the Philly cheesecake that I got was one that had cherry peppers in it, and I didn't know that cherry peppers were spicy. It was delicious, but I couldn't eat it because it was spicy so heads up if anybody wants to order that.

BEST BURGER IN NC!!!! it was phenomenal! i ordered the jack burger with pepper jack cheese, although messy, literally amazing!!! tater tots as side. food came out extremely fast; within 10 min of ordering it. the bartender, a guy, was soooo fast and accommodating! we loved him! amazing small bar/pub vibe. very lowkey; but order the mac and cheese burger if you come bc it's to DIE for! we did not like the sweet potatoe fries, and cheesesteaks was meh. but that's okay! we still enjoyed it. order the burger! service & food is phenomenal.

JackBeagle's doesn't look like all that from the outside and is indeed mostly a dive bar on the inside but in my opinion the Jacks (Billy Jack's Shack and JackBeagle's, not related but located across from one another) have some of the best food in all of NoDa (unless you wanna dish out money on a big bill for nice Italian). The beer and food is all reasonably priced and so good. The cheesesteaks are my favorite, the mac and cheese is raved about, and this is a well kept secret- but they serve brunch here. The back area often have live bands, and when it's crowded people can expand to sit/stand upstairs on the neighboring building. This is honestly where I take visitors to eat in NoDa because this is where I go myself on any given night when I want a bite with friends or just to grab a beer.

We came in and sat at the bar. Bartender was great. Very attentive. There was a shift change while we were there and the 2nd bartender was also great. We ordered the steak salad, pork loaded fries and the mac burger. Salad was okay, burger and fries were great. Only complaint - bathroom was disgusting. Smelled so strongly of old urine it was unbearable. Like someone peed on the walls every day for two weeks and then just let it marinate. If not for that I would have given 5 stars.

As great as ever.., I usually come for dinner or lunch for a burger, or Mac N' cheese bowl and sometimes the gravy fries. But today I finally made it for breakfast and I was foolish waiting so long! The breakfast bowl with tater-tots sausage patties, eggs, onions & peppers plus cheese with gravy was fantastic & their prices are very reasonable. I'll be back again, as always. Thank you!

Phenomenal! Wow. We were so excited to visit this place because of its daily deals. Let me tell you (two double mimosas later) I am loving ittttt! Amazing establishment. Great music, television. The service was amazing. Food was so good. Buffalo Mac was great, but the Beagle Bowl took the crown! Amazing amazing amazing. New to town? Come here! Bring your family friends and say hey I know a place. (That's what I'm gonna do). The double mimosas are hitting very nicely.

Such a fun little spot in NoDa! We are from out of town and were drawn in by the people who were already enjoying the restaurant. So glad we found this place! So affordable, great food and service! We came during their brunch hours (image of menu included) and got the Waco Eggs Benedict. They offer single mimosas for $4 and double for $8 which is a great deal! We loved the French toast as well! Our server, Rivera, was fun and relaxed. Overall the experience was chill and you could tell the locals love this place. There is a stage out back so I'm guessing they have live music sometimes. We definitely will remember this place and would love to come back.

JackBeagles is a lovely place to hang out, especially when the weather is nice. Our service was great and food came out quickly. I'd recommend the Buffalo, however it was not the best one I've ever had. The Buffalo sauce and chicken quality was great. Only pitfall for this visit is that I wasn't informed of the additional cost of subbing out the bread for a wrap until I read my receipt before paying. I've eaten here before and a highlight to note is they have tons of Mac and cheese options! I'd definitely recommend a side of that for your first visit. Also be sure to check out their weekly specials. Tuesdays has $4 margaritas and $2 coronas!
