I bought a small crumpler bag ideal for laptop + DSLR, and it's been great!

Yes it's on the pricey side, but Hamburg Winter's and bad weather make it the place to go to get winter jackets. Of course you can grab all the standard outdoor stuff as well. They have a massive collection and if you don't see it then take a look in the catalogue. It will make you mind boggle! The staff there are incredibly helpful and well-informed. I have even seen them help English people too, and to a high standard. And also there are some good deals sometimes. Insider tip: Grab the Globetrotter Shop card.
