Now why is my burger like this? My first lunch plans did work out so I headed to Jack in the Box. I got the double bacon smashed jacked. I was so excited to have a juicy and cheesey burger with a lil taste of bacon on it! I opened up the box and noticed the cheese wasnt drippy looking. I grabbed my burger and it didn't have that little burger dip that typically happens during the fresh out of the wrapper pick up. When that little dip didn't hit my thumb right, I knew something was off. My buns were hard and my meat was dry. I even broke the burger in half to see was I not giving it a chance. The meat was even dry in the middle. Please don't go here. They shouldn't be making burger. Jack, baby please get in that box and figure something out because this isn't it at all!. Trying it out not bad more issues with the facilities than anything else. Had the sausage egg and cheese croissant which was very good nice to be able to get it in the afternoon. Service was good being that it took awhile so it was fresh to start with. Little overcooked on the hash browns thou. Facility needs some work paint bubbling trim missing on corners. read more

I am very picky about customer service. My daughter and I went to this Jack-in-the-Box. When we pulled up to order, there was a sign posted saying "cash only". I didn't know until I got to the window to pay that I did not quite have enough cash to cover or food. The cashier was very sweet, and said that it was perfectly fine, and offered to give me and my daughter, a drink. When I got my food, I also noticed there was a taco that I did not order in my bag. Even though it was a bit of an inconvenience, the staff at this Jack in the box made up for it with their kindness, flexibility, and hospitality. To make the experience even better, the fries were crunchy and hot and eggroll was super crunchy and delicious! Definitely recommend this Jack in the box! read more

Ok. Had to take time out of my day to write this review as a Public Service Announcement (PSA). The food was horrible; the service was atrocious; and the lobby cleanliness was disgusting the first time. We vowed to never go back. We conduct workshops at the Public Library across the street and had no other choice due to time constraints and went back. Ok a few months passed. There was no way it was that bad again?! Wrong. The second time the lobby was beyond disgusting. I had to eat due to my low blood sugar, or we would have left. I could not even use my power wheelchair there without running over food waste on the floor all over the entire lobby. Rice, half eaten burgers, taco meat and other not recognizable stuff. It was so bad, it looked intentional. Ok the good news, my service animal got several free snacks from the floor. There is that. My wife was an Assistant Manager at a Jack's in Squim, Washington. She was embarrassed. We know this is NOT their standards (or ANY place you eat). We had also owned a 6000sqft restaurant in the past. We know if the lobby was this badly maintained, we were appalled to think what the kitchen was like. /shutters Ok, you might think the staff was so busy that they had no time to clean. Not the case. The credit card machines were down nationwide for Jack's and the 3 or 4 members of the staff were loudly "shooting the breeze" in the kitchen. Sorry, not an accurate head count because they were out of sight. We could hear them clearly though and we were on the other side of the lobby! Ok, I am normally not like this. The Manager on duty needs to find another career option. Again, as a PSA, the Temple Texas food inspectors need to pay this place a surprise visit. Sorry. My wife wanted to take photos but had left our only cellphone at the library. Trust me, it was disgusting. In a word, you were warned, STAY AWAY. Boy, was this something in the box alright. I ordered 65 tacos to go for my sons birthday party. His name is Chuck, but the kids at school call him chunky. All he wanted for his birthday was tacos, but instead, he got 65 tacos with lettuce. My son clearly does not eat lettuce because he is 10 years old, stands at about 5 feet 4inches, and weights almost 275 pounds. I went there this morning to eat Breakfast. while eating another customer told me there was a cockroach right above me on the ceiling tile. There was an employee in the lobby he just said "that was a big one" he just simply shrug ot off and continued his conversation in the lobby with a customer friend of his. So, it's a Jack-in-the-Box. The expectation can't be that it's just wonderful food and a wonderful atmosphere. However, I was dumb enough to just drive off and leave my credit card there on Saturday and when I discovered I didn't have it late Sunday afternoon I retrace my steps. On Monday I went back to this Jack-in-the-Box and told them that I had lost my card and this was the last place that I used it and the gentleman went to the back room and came out with my card. Night Shift manager is so rude he forgot my fries and after waiting for 40min on the drive thru lane to get my fries i asked if they could replace my tacos or reheat them because they got cold and he was so rude didn't act like a manager. Ladies and Gentleman.... Please let me share my horror story with you. So its late the family wants Jack in the Box. All time favorite place, good food, usually fast friendly service.... but tonight is not the case. Now we travel from Cameron to Temple when we get a Jack craving (30 minutes each way). Yes the foods a bit cool when we get home but still worth it... So I'm sitting in the drive thru, order 2 ultimates, 2 fries, soda, and of course 4 tacos (best fast food tacos anywhere). Now I have learned to check the bags before coming back... sucks to have a wrong or missing order when you just drove this distance. I notice I'm missing a burger, so I flip around and get back in line.... When I get to the window (I'm not trippin, hell it happens) explained to La Tonya that I need another burger one was missing.. She turns to her coworker and ATTEMPTS to whisper "He just took it out the bag." Yes she did.... but I keep my mouth shut.. So I pull up to wait... Well here comes La Tonya, she hands me the bag then says "I checked the video, he put the burger in the bag." I said "No it wasn't in the bag. And you can check if you'd like. I haven't been anywhere else but this parking lot." So La Tonya, rolls her eyes and says "I should call the cops on you." Yes she did. Never again. I was so mad. Got called a liar, thief, and threatened by her with the police....over their mistake. That just did it for me... Update - We tried again at a different location a few weeks after this happened, the one by I35. To our utter surprise, there she was, on the drive thru speaker asking for our order. Anger gripped us again and we just had to take off. Now we go to the Taco Bell on 31st for late night cravings. Wonderful, friendly staff. So apologetic if they are not able to fulfill your order. This particular jack n the box on the day i went proved that they value customer service. One of the managers was so upset that the customers had to wait more then 3-4 min on their orders. Which for jack n the box i think is good since the food is not already ready. The jumbo deals are always pretty good you get a lot of food for the money.
