There's a parking lot and there's usually plenty of parking. Came during a weekday dinner. The restaurant appeared clean. The place was pretty empty. The staff were nice. Food came out quickly and hot. Got the 2 tacos for $1.29 and Chuck Sandwich for $6.99. The tacos were crispy and just as remembered. The Chuck Sandwich was similar to the Popeye's chicken. I have picked up food at this location for DoorDash and Uber eats several times this particular morning I needed to use the restroom. I was told by a young girl working the front on a Saturday morning approximately 8:30 AM. The bathrooms were not available. I told her that there are certain rules governing at eating establishment having working bathrooms for their customers. She was quite rude and unprofessional, she lied it wasn't Intel. I started recording, and she went to the manager and tried to get the manager to join in on her lie. The manager was an older woman. I waited for approximately eight minutes before the manager opened up a restroom and said oh you can use this one. I've lived in this neighborhood for over 24 years. I've owned my home. I walked into this location , walked over to its restrooms, there was a trashcan, blocking one restroom, and on the other restroom door, there was a sign that read for paying customers, which is totally normal. I walked over to the front and proceeded to order, an order of tacos right after I paid, I Astor front staff if I can use the restroom, she proceeded to say I don't have any restrooms for customers. When I received my order, I asked for one ranch and instead of just handing it to me she charged me, which I guess it's okay no problem right, but there was a big line and I walked in front of them. Today after doing some shopping at the east side of Palmdale we decided to stop by here for a bite to eat. We should of left as soon as we saw Jack in the Box. It's located in the not so great area of Palmdale. When you enter the parking lot you see not the best folks you want to run into. The parking lot is dirty and it has a smell to it. We still went in and that should of been the first sign. Place is small and some what clean. There was a bucket with dirty water and a mop next to the door where employees enter the kitchen area. We ordered our food and waited. We sat down next to a window. We got our food and ate. The food tasted like it was cooked in dirty oil. The tacos were not the best and the onion rings were over cooked and tasted nasty. Now we wait to have diarrhea. We couldn't wait to get out of there fast! This has been the worst Jack in the Box I have ever seen. I understand it's been there for a while but a little upgrade and cleaning will do wonders for the restaurant. Not the best place to stop by with your family to eat either. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Keep going until you see another Jack in the Box. I know we will do that next time. Not worth to stop by and eat food that taste nasty. I almost forgot one detail. The cashier suppose to give me $0.57 in change and I got one quarter, one $1 coin, one nickle and 2 pennies. Bathrooms are disgusting and smell like dead animal-pretty sure people have taken showers there since they had a sign that said please no showering as well as other policies in re: to loitering, which is obviously not enforced. Also, employees @ the drive-thru sometimes ask you to back up your car a little and pull up again-perhaps to reset their timer so it doesn't look like they're behind on an order? I'm not sure. This Jack in the Box is by far the most inconsistent Jack-in-the-Box I've ever been to. I've been going to this Jack in the Box for 11 years. Because it's right down the street from my house. So to sum it up there needs to be consistency with in a restaurant with her it's fast food or sit-down dining. And I'm not sure if the food is properly checked prior to giving to customers and my guess it isn't, but the onion rings were rock hard. It seems like many of the fast food chains out here in Palmdale don't really care about the quality of service or the food they serve. I'm not expecting much from a fast food restaurant. However, have a little pride in something that you own.
