My husband loves Jack in the Box and we do not have one in our state. We came in at 10:30 before the airport to eat something. They do serve burgers all day. The service was great and they even brought the food to the table. We sat in the dining area with our twins. They had two really awesome dining chairs. Each one had a buckle to strap them in. My father in law got a breakfast croissant sandwich. He said it was good. I ate some nuggets and fries. All of my food was super hot and delicious. They gave me tons of ranch too. My husband got a burger and curly fries. He said his food was good too. The only issue was that all of our drinks were really flat tasting. Everything we ordered was awful. I ordered the sourdough jack and the bacon was pretty much raw. I had to use my fingers when I took a bite to tear it apart. My parents both ordered breakfast sandwiches and they were both so cold they could take the slices of cheese off each sandwich with no problem. Every time I go (even when I yell till my throat hurts) they still cant hear me or dont understand what I am saying. When you place an online order they will still find a way to mess it up. The tables are dirty whenever we go in. I ordered asked the lady to remake the bobba drink because it was supposed to be classic after repeating myself four times she finally understood and said she will not. I just went to the JIB on Goldstone in Meridian ID. The guy at the window took my order just fine. But when I got to the window he only asked me for my money and didn't say another word. Handed me my drinks without a word. Then after a long wait handed me my food without saying a word. Then as I was driving away I checked my order and found no fries. I go back to the speaker and tell him he didn't give me my fries. He says "my bad" and to drive up. Then when I get to the window he hands me my fries with no bag or even a word to say I'm sorry or have a nice day. Then when I get home I realize I only have two Jalapeño Poppers when I ordered three. The entire experience was ridiculous and unacceptable. I regularly visit this Jack in the Box store & I have to say that I am absolutely impressed each and every time. I have only used the drive thru. Every time I pull up to the speaker, the worker greets me in a really nice manner, not over the top animated where you feel like they are faking it. They seem a bit genuine. The drive thru is usually pretty busy, but the employees are always moving fast to make sure you aren't stuck in the drive thru for days. Each and every time I have visited this JITB, my food has been fresh, hot, & cooked according to my specifications. read more

I showed up 10 minutes before closing and all I wanted was a small shake. When I pulled into the drive through the voice promptly informed me they closed in 10 minutes. No friendly greeting or anything. I told them I just wanted a small shake and then was informed that they had already turned off the shake machines. The kid at the drive through was extremely rude I asked him about the cash only issue they were having and suggested they offer a discount to those whom it may be an inconvenience to, I had to go to an ATM and pull money out that also charged me $5 so I could get myself and my wife food as they are the only place open after midnight. He replied because the system was down, threw his hands around and shrugged it off. He said it wasn't his issue and he basically didn't care. He proceeded to shut the window as I was still talking. I placed and paid for an order through the app. This location isn't even in my city or side of town but was the only one open at the time. They were supposed to close at 2 AM but when I arrived around 10:30 PM, the drive thru had a cone blocking the entrance and the front door was locked. There were at least 3 staff members that I could see inside so I walked around to the other entrance, where I thought they could see me better. After several minutes of knocking, the manager came to the door. I explained that I was there to pick up an online order and he informed me that they were not going to make it due to staffing issues and they are now closed. I inquired about refunding my money, which he said I had to get through the app. He had a, "that's your problem" kind of attitude and said things about the business that someone representing it probably shouldn't. I walked back to my car and requested a refund before I even left the property. Shortly after, I received confirmation that my request had been received. After two weeks of hearing nothing, I submitted another request, waited a week, then had to submit another request, and still another week went by with no refund or response. After waiting an entire month, three separate requests via the "hey Jack" link, and no refund or response, I finally reached out to BBB for assistance. Within 24 hours, my request was finally approved by the business. Customers shouldn't have to jump through hoops to that extent or involve outside help to get a refund, especially when it was the businesses' fault/decisions that led to me not being able to get my order to begin with. Keeping my money and ignoring refund requests was just insult to injury. I get it, times can be rough. Judging the staffing situation and who was chosen to represent this business, desperation wouldn't be a stretch. Most people are understanding though if you give a scripted apology and a semi-professional explanation. However, acting like paying customers with minimal expectations are somehow putting you out because they have business standards, isn't acceptable. I feel bad for the business owner. For the staff giving this business a bad name, I'd be embarrassed and ashamed. Customers do have a choice. Clearly, this isn't a one off situation and based on remarks made by management, I'd question the capability of anyone there. For anyone reading this, I'd save your time/money/frustration and avoid this place at whatever cost. read more
