This is my second time hiring Jorge Colon for a family civil matter. He is very patient and…read moreunderstanding. The staff he employs work diligently and compassionately. At times I really needed their assistance for the case they were always there. I have to say the professionalism of the staff and the Attorney are second to none. They care. Take your time and give them the information they would need from you. Trust the attorney. A+

Mr. Colón, You say…read moreyou advocate for your clients--but I urge you, and anyone reading, to consider the consequences of how that advocacy played out in my case. You caused serious harm not only to me, but to your own client by handling negotiations in bad faith. You delivered a Marital Settlement Agreement (MSA) to me--and possibly even to your client--at 11:00 PM the night before a 9:00 AM trial, followed by a bait-and-switch renegotiation minutes before court. That strategy didn't just waste my time--it wasted your client's time, the court's time, and most of all, made her fly across the country from California for nothing. If that's your idea of advocacy, it's a dangerous one--because it isn't just about legal games. It has real consequences for real people. Your client unlawfully relocated our children in 2022, separating them from their father, their siblings, and their extended family. You knew this. You were told directly. Yet you chose not to address it--not once in your filings. Instead, you focused your efforts on my assets, as if property mattered more than parenting. You call this "aggressive representation." But what you've done is enable a long, drawn-out custody and divorce battle--one that still hasn't ended three years later, and one that has inflicted irreversible emotional harm on these children. When children grow up alienated from a loving parent, everyone loses--especially the parent who thought their attorney was protecting them. When the effects of that alienation fully manifest, and when accountability finally comes due, your misplaced advocacy will not only have harmed me--it will have failed the very person you claim to serve. Lastly, to the public: calling the number in Mr. Colón's reply thinking you'll get "aggressive representation" may be a grave mistake. If your case involves children, integrity, or your future peace of mind, I strongly urge you to seek an attorney who knows the difference between fighting and destroying. The consequences of hiring the wrong advocate won't just affect your case--they may affect your life and your children's future. -- Damaso A. del Rosario, Pro Se Petitioner Gainesville, Florida, USA

We were to go into mediation hearing with the opponent but I informed Plappert that the opponent made it very clear he wasn't attending. Did Plappert notify the judge? No. He billed me, a 77 year old senior unemployed living on SS $2500 for a non existent Mediation hearing. Later the opponent agrees to a mediation. Plappert who charges $400 per hour for his expertise, had a young kid take his place to mediate. The case was against a builder violating his own contract on a number of issues. The kid wasn't qualified to answer the opponents lawyer as he stated, I didn't really read the contract. Unbelievable! He didn't read the contract, the only reason for the mediation. The defendant has been witnessed by myself as freely committing perjury in a federal case overseen by the DOJ. Knowing Plappert is up against a shyster I requested subpoena's on SECO for all communication between the two. Plappert ignored me. And ignored me. Weeks passed and the defendant filed chapter 11. Now Plappert tells me it's too late to file for the subpoena's. But when I made the request it was weeks prior. After mediation we were scheduled arbitration following the chapter 11.[ Jesus stated that the LOVE of money is the root of all Evil. ] Double billing on important phone calls, charging thousands of dollars for unattended fanthom hearings, placing, unqualified attorneys in his place for a contract hearing with a kid who admittedly stated that he didn't even didn't even read the contract,.failing to subpoena vital records clarifying fraud, Advocacy Group? Advocating for whom? Newest fraud perpetrated upon me is Plappert is Steadfastly refusing to forward me my file for me to continue my case pro se. He wants to email my file but as a 77 year old senior, I don't possess the computer skills. Therefore, I requested my file mailed to me hardcopy. He Steadfastly refusing to do so. Knowing how much he loves money he can bill me for the PO or UPS fees. No, he insists on emailing that he knows I'm unable to print out. This experience with this unethical company is heart wrenching
