He is a great guy helped me a lot on my case as a free consultation. I'd recommend contacting him for any advice on business matters.

I fully endorse this law firm. My experience has been nothing but stellar. Mr. Ryan Davies was…read moretruly helpful in the legal consult last year, and Ms. Larissa Branes was equally as helpful in my January 2025 consult with her. They truly care about protecting and advocating for their clients! 10/10 stars! This review although brief illustrates my gratitude to this Law Firm for all the information I needed to best approach the ongoing private nuisance issues I have been having with my upstairs neighbor for the past 4 years! Please read my Google review as it delinates more in detail the exceptional service I received from LS Carlson Law!

Where do I even begin to describe this disaster?…read more Hired them over a year ago to handle a dispute with my neighbor and HOA. Not only was it difficult most of the time to reach my attorney, but when I did there was very little follow-up. The HOA would send emails to them regarding violations and hearings and I wouldn't even get told. Since I would get no follow up, I would call several times to be told I would receive a call back from another attorney or my main attorney and never did. Once I started complaining more adamantly, all of the sudden one of the partners reaches out to me for payment. Not when I was having issues prior, not helping in my case, not calling for a check-in - only when payment is involved. Never once did I hear an apology or anything from him for the lack of service but just demands for money. With all the issues I'd been experiencing and the complete lack of anything substantial being done, this is the first I hear from him. Mind you, over a year has gone by and no progress was made and the HOA increased their pressure - not back off. An ADR letter was sent out that was ignored by both parties. Prior to that, cease and desist letters were sent that were also ignored. Literally nothing was done for me besides sending a few nasty letters. No mediation, no physical meetings, no court/lawsuit and no forward progress was made after a year with them and wanted to charge me over $11,000. Some of the costs for me included having talks amongst each other about my case at the office, rewrites of letters that I had to correct them on errors about, and $50+ emails all typically billed at the highest rate. I'm in a worse off position now than I was a year ago. Ryan Davies and this firm should be ashamed to even consider charging someone for a service that produced no results, never went to mediation/court as wanted and promised, and worsened a situation.

Nothing but great experience with this firm. I have used their services for over a decade now.read more

I've been in communication with this law firm for two months. For the first month, it was extremely…read moredifficult to make contact, but finally when I did I was explicitly asked to complete a list of tasks that require me to hire, licensed plumbers, electricians, framers, roofers, landscape, architects, etc., which cost me tens of thousands of dollars to compile the requested evidence to make a case. I spent all the money and even hired a project manager that was the contractor that built a portion of the framing when the home was originally built. Finally, I had enough evidence to schedule a preliminary call and shared the evidence. The attorney acknowledge that there are damages, and a pretty solid lawsuit. About a week later I got an email from the attorney stating that he can't take the case because he is too busy. Really a bummer after spending so much money to follow the instructions given to me by Tom Borchard all for it to be a very expensive wild goose chase. I wish that he was honest with me from the get-go about his caseload and the probability that his plate would be too full. I'm not saying that he's a bad attorney. I'm not saying that he did anything negligent or with intent. I'm saying is that I was instructed to jump through a lot of hoops, all the wild being positively assured that if I follow those steps, then he would take the case. Turned out that I hadn't been informed that all of the work that went into providing the investigation that he proposed necessary, would all end up being a waste of time and money because didn't disclose that after we do our part, he still may prioritize another case. Now, I have had subsequent conversations with Tom since and he has explained why he can't take the case, but I believe it's a day late and tens of thousands of dollars short. It wouldn't be fair to mention that he provided a reference for another attorney, but I'm skeptical that someone that he recommends may operate in the same fashion. We made a commitment to spend the money so that he had everything he needed in order to represent us. He expressed explicitly that there is a case here. But I don't believe that he, nor someone he recommends will not put us through the same. We spent so much time and money to follow the exact instructions that he gave us. It would've been nice to know that we should get a second opinion before spending all of that time and money. His exact words after saying that he can't take the case was, "I think you should get a second opinion" due to the fact that he didn't intend on prioritizing our case, even though he stated that there was a definite case against the defendant. Take that for what it is, but I would absolutely not spend a single dollar until you have a contract in place, but know that the attorney has no intention of assisting with the burden of proof, but rather insist on you spending a boatload of money in order to Hand feed a clear line of evidence that shows negligence, fraud, or professional liability.
