At first I was apprehensive because it's more expensive and I didn't want to be disappointed with the turnout again but it was a chance I'd have to take if I wanted a better image. Luckily, the experience was completely different; Steve made it very relaxed and would take pictures from all angles to get the best image. I wasn't clear on the fact that all photos of all sports for the school were taken. That's a monumental task and the workflow is likely tedious. Additional communication or batch releases would have been appreciated. Upon release I do appreciate the service used to showcase the photos, including the option to locate subjects by uploading an image of them. That being said. There are over 50 photos on my one child. Many photos are over edited. Normal, HDR, Sepia, Black and white, and others. I don't believe that's necessary and wish the editing had been kept minimal, touch ups and maybe one color, one b&w. When the photos were posted o received text notification. I looked but did not yet purchase. More on the prices later. Three days after looking I was texted again a reminder. Today's after that, again. Two days after that, again. It's over bearing and pushy, but likely an option that comes from the hosting service. Photographer should contact the service about this. Packages are pushed at an exorbitant price while standard prints are reasonable. The price for just three digital is also high but I get it. Photographer is probably loved and doing well. This is just my non paying observation.
