My father requires attention on a daily basis as many, including his family, neighbors and friends know. Gave Dick the benefit of the doubt and trusted him to do a routine irrigation-related service at a fair price. After some back and forth with Dick about the invoice amount, and asking how is it that three people digging one hole is not stupid, he threatened me with some sort of physical attack over the phone and called me a "nigger lover" before hanging up. I'm writing this review because I have no other option. His invoice was paid.

Came back and his team removed the dead grass. We then went to choose rocks to be placed. We chose Pink Sandstone for the one area; close to house and larger blended rainbow 4" rock for an area closer to the gutter by the street. Both turned out beautiful! Dick and Heidi then took us over to purchase a special tree- Cherokee Chief Dogwood -to be planted in the Pink Sandstone; by the house. This tree is already attracting small robin! Highly recommend Step A Head Landscaping! Feel the price is right for the hard work they did and the beautiful result! Neighbors are already stopping and gawking! Vicki N

Initially, he was quick to respond and came over to look at my yard the day after I contacted him to give me an estimate. He started the weekly mowing, but kept delaying my spring cleanup and even "double booked" himself once. Mistakes happen, but he continued to jerk me around by telling me the cleanup could be done the following weekend. By the time the weekend rolled around, Erick could not do the cleanup because "the rain pushed everything back". Ok, I get it, weather is unpredictable. So we agreed upon the following Monday. Well, Monday came and went and Erick was a no show. I reached out to him several times to find out what was going on and if he had me in the schedule. No response. He completely went silent on me. This is incredibly frustrating as I contacted Erick over a month ago about a spring cleanup and was relying on this service to host a gathering in my back yard this week. But now I am stuck with a yard full of weeds. Erick is completely unprofessional and misleading. Avoid this company!
