..I visited J+W Nursery (6 hours round trip) and purchased some trees and plants. I give the owner and employee good marks for helpfulness but they have a few issues. One thing that would eliminate one of my concerns is they only give a cash register receipt. They dont provide a ticket/invoice which spells out what is purchased. I didn't realize I was overcharged for 2 trees until I returned home. I notified them and they are in the process of sending a check for the difference. The other concern is even though they had the trees separated by variety under signs, I ended up not getting the trees I wanted and ended up having to drive 6 hours to exchange them. I admit I should have checked but I didn't ring up the sale and the employee helped me get the trees. So, check the sales slip and check the tags on the plants and trees. Hopefully the plants andvtrees survive since there is no warranty of survival. read more
