I was looking for a barber at the lake. We bought a condo in 2005 and sold it in 2018. An owner at El Grande restaurant had a nice haircut and he told me about Wyatt's. I made an appointment and as he was cutting my hair, he started using a razor to cut it. I had a lot of styled razor cuts in St. Louis, primarily by Earl's barbers or students. I thought, I wonder what this is going to cost. When finished, with a great haircut, it was $14. With a generous tip it was still less than I would pay in St. Louis. No one else but Wyatt cut my hair for the time we owned the condo at the lake, often planning our trips to the lake around when I needed a haircut. I haven't found a comparable haircut since and I miss Wyatt. More than once, I have considered driving the 160 or so miles, one way, to get a decent haircut, but that isn't really sustainable. I have a special event in December and the idea to go to the lake gets stronger and stronger. If you are at the lake, I would strongly suggest Wyatt's. But make an appointment.
