A4L: A Budget-Friendly Option for Quality Appliances and Service…read moreI recently visited Appliances 4 Less Austin after purchasing an older home. I spent most of my money fixing up the house so my budget for appliances is limited. I'm so happy that I found what I needed within my budget at A4L. I highly recommend this store for anyone shopping on a budget and don't want to suffer quality. What I Loved: 1. Affordable Prices: The biggest draw is, of course, the discounts. Many items were priced significantly lower than big-box retailers, even with the crazy Black Friday sales going on. The reason for the low price is mostly because those appliances are open box items. Some of the items may have minor cosmetic damages such as a dent. The store run tests on them to make sure they are fully functional. Those appliances are under the manufacturer warranty, and I believe A4L also offers warranty. 2. Knowledgeable Staff: The sales associates were friendly, helpful and well-informed about the products. Michael, the store owner, helped me evaluate the pros and cons of each options and we decided on the refrigerator, washer and the dryer that are not only beautiful but also functional for my family's needs. 3. Fast Delivery: The store offered delivery, which was a huge plus for me. What to consider: 1. Cosmetic Flaws: like I mentioned earlier, some of the discounted items had minor scratches or dents. While these didn't impact functionality, it's something to consider if aesthetics are important. 2. Variety of brands: while there is a decent selection of good brands such as LE and Samsung, you may not have as large of selection as those big box retailers. Verdict: A4L is an excellent place for anyone looking to save money on appliances without sacrificing quality. While the trade-off may be minor cosmetic issues, the savings are worth it. I'll definitely return for future purchases!

The people were nice and it seemed to go smoothly. When I got to the store the dryer was packaged up in clear cellophane. I could see the few scratches it had,,,,everything seemed ok. I went to pay for it and they rounded up to $450, I did not say anything, no big deal. The floor help was nice and helped me load the dryer and even got me extra cardboard to protect it. I got home and removed the cellophane and to my surprise my wife said it is used! There was lent in the trap. After removing the screen there was hair and dirt on the inside. This was a used dryer, not just a scratch and dent. The price I paid was for a brand new dryer with some scratches, this dryer should have been cheaper for having been used for no telling how long. If you do business here,,,,,Caveat emptor, let the buyer beware!!!!!!

We eventually spoke with a gentleman named Dylan who pointed us in the right direction. The selection of chargers was minimal but we ended up finding what we needed. I feel like it's typically Best Buy that has the best value as far as price goes. Anyhow. We spoke to Dylan briefly about returning to purchase a PS5 and a new iPhone 17 pro max for myself and he was kind enough to take us to the correct departments for both of those. We did end up going back for the PS5 and the iPhone, separate times, and unfortunately the iPhone was/is currently still out of stock. Once they re-stock, I'll definitely be back to buy my new phone. It's just so much less chaotic than going directly to Apple or Verizon.

The competition can be intense, and unfortunately there are always scalpers around, which is never fun for collectors. That said, the experience wasn't all bad--I actually met a few nice people while waiting in line and had some fun conversations with fellow fans. Hopefully Best Buy can increase the supply in the future so more collectors get a fair chance. I'll keep trying my luck next time. Wish everyone good luck and happy hunting! Cheers!

Consequently it has very little selection and most times it's hard to find what you need if they even carry it at all. So whenever I need something, sometimes I wait till I drive into Austin and get it. It is so much easier and there is so much more of a selection. This Home Depot is really nice. Set off the highway a bit, easy to find, easy to get in and out of. This is typically the Home Depot I use since it is close to where I work.

I spend more money at Home Depot than I would EVER admit here as I am not a contractor but like to pretend I am one. Daily. Hahaha. A tip is to make sure you do e-receipt or at least remember what card you used or if you used your Apple wallet, then they can look up your receipt. I loved that she educated me in the process in a patient way. She was so knowledgeable!! Thank you Ifiemi (XE28ZX) for ensuring I stay current in this constantly evolving tech world! Home Depot please recognize her leadership. She was unbelievable and I see she is like that with all her customers!! She makes Home Depot SHINE!!!!! I went back to get her name & her co-workers knew and agreed with my assessment which also speaks volumes to her leadership and teamwork. Service like hers is what keeps me coming back to Home Depot even after a bad experience years ago during COVID with a different employee. Gooooo Ifiemi!! Making Home Depot shine!!

Our experience with the kitchen department was extremely frustrating from start to finish. Roel, the "designer," was not professional at all and did an awful job. There was a serious lack of communication--not only between us and the team, but also between Lowe's and their contractors. We created two design versions (original and updated), but the cabinet company received only the original plan, which had incorrect dimensions. As a result, the cabinets were built in the wrong size, causing major delays and unnecessary stress. Because of this mistake, we had to wait over a month for the correct cabinet to arrive, even though this was not treated as an urgent issue. When the replacement cabinet and accessories finally arrived at the store, the situation got even worse due to disorganization. Some replacement parts were delivered to our home, but the most important piece--the base cabinet--was missing, along with the accessories. Without it, we couldn't move forward with installing the countertop. We ended up having to go to the store ourselves and help them locate the missing items. They eventually found the base cabinet, but the accessories were lost and had to be reordered yet again. To make matters worse, the wall cabinet was also designed incorrectly. The designer failed to account for the necessary clearance to open the cabinet doors properly, which means it now needs to be redone. After more than two months of constant issues, delays, and headaches, our kitchen is still not finished. They still need to reorder the incorrectly designed wall cabinet and the missing accessories. Customer service has been extremely poor--they show no sense of urgency or accountability. We constantly have to follow up and push them just to get basic things done. Overall, a very disappointing and exhausting experience. I would not recommend using Lowe's kitchen department in Leander, TX.
