    Them being on time and their technician that came to my home being friendly is about the only good…read morething I can say about this company. We moved into a property, lived here about 6 months then one night I walk in my kitchen at night turn on the light and seen a couple roaches. the next day we pulled out our fridge and saw approximately 5-6 roaches. This was major to me as I don't share my home with pest. The very next day I called pest control companies. It was between terminix and orkin. Orkins monthly price seemed to be the better option by a few dollars so I went with them. This was the worst decision. Fast forward to now almost a month later they came out for their first visit that was not cheap btw, asked me some questions about the infestation, I answered and they sprayed, and did their thing. At this point even though I emphasized on how I seen them by and behind my fridge the most, they did not pull out refrigerator to spray, cabinets or anything but told me to trust the process. They told me they would do their follow up in a week and then after that my services would be billed every other month and they would come every other month to maintain my home roach free. I took this to mean I shouldn't see many, if any roaches after the second visit, and we would just be maintaining them at that point, just like any normal person would interpret that conversation. About a week after spraying I hadn't heard from them so I called and scheduled the follow up visit. They were supposed to come out but my whole family was sick that day so I called and they rescheduled which was no biggie, I know nobody wants to get sick. During this wait I noticed a big increase in roaches but that I wasn't seeing any dead bugs with the exception of a few. So we pulled out our fridge again and this time there were hundreds. It was disgusting. In their defense they did tell me I may see a temporary increase in them after they sprayed because they are trying to get away from the poison, but I didn't expect this. I called orkin immediately they said they would have them back immediately for that second visit and let the tech know to pull stuff out this time. So the tech came out again and sprayed, this time he did pull out the fridge and seen how bad it was. He told me he sprayed a stronger dose this time and that should work better and he would be back in a month to do my maintenance visits. Since the second time him spraying I'm still seeing as many roaches as I did after the first spray and not finding many dead ones. I seen what was behind the fridge so I expected to at least see dead ones after they sprayed again. Now here it is time for me to pay the monthly maintenance visit and get the maintenance visit but they still have failed to exterminate the roaches to where we can just maintain it. I can barely cook in my home due to fear of bugs getting in there while I am cooking. I expressed my concern over the phone with orkin about not seeing any dead bugs still, and the lady proceeded to tell me it sounds like I have an infestation and need to do an extra service called a clean out which would be 300.00 more to get rid of them because this way won't work. I simply asked her how she came up with that solution over the phone having never stepped foot in my home, but the technician who has been in my home was supposed to evaluate my infestation his first time out here and recommend what service I needed and he didn't recommend that. He recommended the treatment plan I'm on and have already paid for and told me they had a guarantee and this is what I needed to do. Only Now after I already paid for this service that their tech recommended and said I needed and it didn't work only now are they telling me over the phone that must not have been the right treatment plan for my house. I don't understand if I needed the "clean out " treatment plan instead of the one I'm already locked in a contract for the year for, the. Why didn't the technician tell me that any of the times he was at my house???? Before I paid for the other service?? Also, I've talked to 3 different people prior to this on the phone about not seeing dead bugs and they never mentioned I need to pay for a different service and pay them to come more frequently. If the tech that was supposed to evaluate my infestation would have told me that's what I needed to do initially that wouldn't have been an issue, but they recommended a package based on their evaluation of my home, I trusted them and paid for that package, and signed a contract on it for one year. Now that package isn't killing any bugs so they say I need a different one. What makes me think this next one will work since the first one didn't? The lady on the phone was really snooty, and took me having an issue personally. Told me I had unrealistic expectations by expecting to have to clean dead bugs and expecting the population to decrease instead of increase after them being here to spray twice in one month.
