This turned out to be an incredibly frustrating and costly experience. The shop charged $221.94 just for the battery service, which was particularly disappointing considering a local O'Reilly's had offered to do the installation for free if I purchased the battery from them. The service was also plagued by unnecessary delays and oversight. I was forced to pay out-of-pocket for two unexpected Uber rides because the shop kept my vehicle overnight, claiming the mechanic lacked the "proprietary tool" required to remove the battery. In reality, the job only requires a standard 10mm socket for the terminals and a 13mm socket with an extension for the hold-down bolt. To make matters worse, despite paying for a tire rotation, the shop completely missed that two of the rotated tires were left low on pressure. I chose to support a neighborhood business, but this experience was a lesson well learned.

We've gone from electrical issues to an almost complete engine replacement, and now the A/C has gone out and the turbos are having issues. Of course, they don't want to help because the vehicle is out of warranty, but this car has been in the shop more than I've actually had it. I've had to pay for a rental for at least two months just this past year, and I've even had to take it to another dealership for repairs because the original dealership couldn't accommodate me. The customer service and service department have been absolutely horrible. The car even had water damage because they didn't believe me when I told them I could hear water moving inside the vehicle. Sure enough, the rear windshield wiper area was allowing water into the vehicle, causing significant damage. It's been downhill ever since. I've asked for a buyback, but of course they refused. I also asked them to help me trade it in for something comparable, but instead they wanted to put me into a vehicle that would benefit them, not us. This entire experience with Lincoln has been an absolute nightmare. I've had to involve Lincoln Concierge just to get them to take action and address my concerns. A manufacturer shouldn't make a customer fight this hard for help after experiencing this many problems. At this point, I'm beyond frustrated. This vehicle has caused us nothing but stress, inconvenience, and additional expenses, and I just want this nightmare to end. This experience has completely changed the way I feel about Lincoln and makes me question whether they truly stand behind the products they sell.
