If you take the water taxi from the main area in the Marina it is a beautiful way to get to Calis. The water is clear and the beach is best in the morning/evening when there aren't too many sunbathers. Also on Sundays there is a farmer's market/ local market with fresh fruits, vegetables, and amazing cooked foods that is on the Calis side just 10 minutes walk from the beach!! The downsides are the eateries are more centered towards British tourists with English brekkies being a large draw and unfortunately the prices reflect the audience.

Small island, but beautiful clear blue waters, SUPER soft sand (heavily monitored so people don't take the sand because it can only be found in Egypt), and ruin remains along the entire island.
