UPC is the most horrible utilities company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. When I…read moretried to cancel my service in September because competitors were offering better speeds for only 49 CHF, the sale rep said that he would give me the Happy Home 600 plan for 49 CHF for 12 months. The next day my service was changed but instead of 49CHF they began billing me 129 CHF, which is 10 CHF more than I was paying previously with a plan that I actually wanted. For September, October, and November they continued to charge me 129 CHF. Throughout this time I had 4 phone conversations totaling 4 hours of mostly waiting with intermittent conversations with incompetent people who kept promising to fix my bill and never did. Now they have also disconnected my phone. This is beyond absurd. My next call will be to cancel my service followed immediately by a call to my lawyer.
