This is my second time at the spa and 1st time staying at the lodge . What a beautiful property. We booked into the spa to treat ourselves . We went in early to get our sandals and robes and take advantage of the facilities. We started off in the rooftop Hot Tub which was a bit cooler than usual but with the sunny -2 temperature it was a great start to the day . We then took a break in the fantastic steam room, which was so relaxing . Moving into the relaxation room we enjoyed herbal teas and flavoured water while we waited for our services. I had the Nita Lake Signature service with Katie . A full body salt scrub , followed by a mud wrap. While wrapped up and absorbing the mud you are treated to a fantastic mead massage . Then whisked off to the showers to clean off with your skin feeling buttery soft . Back into the treatment room for an amazing 1 hour full body massage . This is the perfect way to spend a day even if you don't ski .

Although the price was higher than I initially expected at $250, the overall experience was really lovely and my skin looks and feels great. I also appreciated that Jen, the owner, was incredibly responsive, accommodating my same-day appointment request, and she went above and beyond in her service. She thoughtfully provided a few refreshments, which was a really considerate gesture and greatly appreciated. The salon itself is small, stylish and minimalist, clean and comfortable. Jen played soothing background music and used delightful-smelling lotions. She also included a complimentary back, shoulder, and neck massage in the last fifteen minutes of the session, which was a wonderful and unexpected treat. She is actually a licensed masseuse hence why her massage was soooooo good (I wanted more! haha). I also LOVED the face massage during the facial and I noticed some fluid retention / puffiness in my cheeks had reduced afterwards. While the price did come as a bit of a surprise, Jen kindly assured me there was no need to tip, which was a relief. The exceptional service and personal touches made the experience truly wonderful and my skin looked radiant within hours afterwards. Initially there was a slight pink hue, but that's just because the new baby skin had been revealed, and despite any very mild redness, I was still glowing and got hit on in the grocery store straight afterwards! bahaha! I would have definitely returned had she refunded me but now I never will and I wouldn't recommend anyone go here either. And I don't believe for a minute she would've refunded me as she said in her email that it might've been my fault it chipped lol. Why would I chip my own nail I paid $75 for? Offering $10 to fix it when you could've just refunded me and 1) kept a customer & 2) prevented a 1 star review would've probably made more sense as a business owner. I gave a 4 star originally because I truly thought the people there were nice & originally thought the lady did a good job.
