Whilst my D.I.L was trying on a few items, my 2 year old granddaughter and I surveyed the children's items. We couldn't make up our minds which of the Warmies animals to purchase and were having fun making up our minds. We were interrupted by a salesperson who very condescendingly asked 'if I wanted anything wrapped', really - I am sure you don't need me to translate what that meant ! My granddaughter decided on an adorable Elephant and a Hedgehog for her little sister. At the counter whilst paying, my D.I.L notice that I was being charged more than the $25.00 marked on the toys. When questioned, Miss Condescending curtly said that they had been marked wrongly and she was about to change the price. I was not going to make a fuss & ruin an afternoon with my family, I paid the 'new' price and my granddaughters were thrilled with their toys. Perhaps, I might suggest, Miss Condescending's time might have been better spent apologizing profusely that the items had been marked incorrectly, or taking them off the display until the they had been correctly priced. Rather she basically admonished us for taking too long touching the little furry animals, before she scurried back to the safety of her cash register. To whomever owns City Market Boutique - I will not be back, I hope that the additional $10.00 that I paid is used for a good cause. Patricia Lindridge-Ingber
