Alicia made it a great spa day for my 7yo English lab, Charlie. Her nails were perfect, her ears were clean, and her fur was soft and fluffy. I have taken my dog to them for grooming every 6-8 weeks for about 5 years. Yesterday my dog had his usual appointment and unfortunately the owner/groomer had a personal issue and I had to pick up my dog and wait to be called back to reschedule my appointment When the owner/groomer called back today, there was no apology for canceling the appointment and when I told her that I was flexible and any time next week would be fine, she laughed and said how about 3-4 weeks from now, and I said that was unacceptable and since we accommodated her emergency and had been a long time customer, she should accommodate us and find a reasonable appointment time. She said to take our dog elsewhere ??? I am appalled by her total lack of customer service and I encourage you not to use this dog groomer ! read more

It's easy to tell that Brianna loves her job. Her love of dog grooming shows by how meticulous she is when she grooms our Bixby. He always leaves the store looking handsome and glowing with happiness. Brianna's kind and gentle manner with Bixby helps ease his natural anxiety about taking baths and getting haircuts. We feel blessed to have found an amazing place to have Bixby groomed. She styles well and also ensures that her dog will have a hygienic cut. She also clips dew claws which is extremely helpful. The establishment is clean and hygienic. She has a lovely "dog couch " for the puppies to relax. We are happy to recommend this groomer without hesitation. read more

Bri or Bre, groomed our Cairn Terrier and she did a wonderful job! We are traveling down the coast and needed a last minute groom for our Brook before we left Brookings and she came in early just to fit her in! She was very sweet and really seemed to love animals. I just took my sheltie/German Shepard here to get groomed. He looks amazing!! He has so much fur but he looks and feels ten times lighter after his visit. Koby, my dog, is very shy and is usually very cautious when he goes to the groomers so this being our fist experience at its a barking lot, I was kind of nervous. But they did a great job at making him feel at ease and I could tell they really do care for the dogs that come in. So I would definitely recommend taking your pets to these guys! read more

We have 3 Medium to LARGE dogs and took them ALL in ! the new owners are very nice, they LOVE animals. Love this place! We were out of towners on a Monday looking for a groomer to wash our 75lb yellow lab, who picked up a couple of Crescent City fleas, which were driving him crazy. Breana is sweet, cheery and was wonderful with our precious Nugget. They use Organic flea shampoo products, which is a plus, and even recommended organic flea spray that could be purchased just a couple of doors down at the Woof Bakery. Our old groomer disappeared so we found "It's a barking lot". Their prices are not outrageous for a little 4 lb yorkie haircut so we made an appointment. I took our guy in today and their shop is clean and tidy, Josh cuddled my pup so he felt safe in a new place. I sent Breanna a picture of how I wanted our dog's hair cut and they called when he was all done. He looks great! He's happy and such a studly little guy!
