Absolutely gorgeous!!!!! The Italy Pavilion is stunning. The buildings and architecture make you feel like you are in Europe for real. It is so cute! It is really pretty at night too. The lights make it look so nice. We went into the wine bar inside The Italy Pavilion. It was small and very cozy inside. There are chairs and tables outside that we found too. It was enjoyable to sit at one of the tables and drink some wine- relax and wait for the wireworks to start. We watched the fireworks from the Italy Pavilion. It was amazing. I wish they had better food options at Italy. We were really looking forward to some goof Italian pasta and food. But were disappointed with the limited menu when we got there. Sadness. The views and vibes of this pavilion make it my favorite!

Stop number 5 as we move our way through Epcot. A beautiful area, with lots of shops and places to eat and drink. They have some great pizza out back. The front kiosk always has some good pasta. We tend go to the quick service bar for an espresso martini or wine. You used to be able to stand there for a while but when it's busy it's grab your drink and go. The bartenders are always nice in there and it's nice and air conditioned.

The Italy pavilion is one of my favorite attractions in World Showcase. The pavilion welcomes you to Venice where directly in front of you stands the famous bell tower from Piazza San Marco. The EPCOT lagoon used to have a gondola sitting out but I didn't see it on this visit. Check out the architecture here. Next to the bell tower is a spectacular replica of the pink and white Doge's palace. Spend a moment over at the "fontana de Netturo" inspired by Bernini's Neptune fountain. and enjoy the musicians. Even the bridges remind you of Venice. During the flower and garden festival "Lady and the Tramp" topiaries take center stage in this exhibit. Italy has no attraction but it has some restaurants and shops. Sit down dining is available at Tutto Italia ristorante and Via Napoli for Italian food as well as pizza. Tutto also has a wine cellar. Get a gelato at La Gelateria Toscana. Shopping is also worth a look here. In addition to Italian wines, you can purchase hand made paper mache Venetian masks. You can also purchase murano glassware at II Bel Cristano. Also on hand are Italian leathers and perfumes. What made this visit so special for me was that my husband and I did a "capture your moment" session in this pavilion. This was a 20 minute prepaid session done by photo pass photographers to celebrate a special occasion. In my case we were celebrating an anniversary. We went all over the pavilion having romantic shots taken at different bridges and buildings for backgrounds. We got a total of about 70 pictures. Having purchased Disney's Memory Maker these photos were part of our instant download for us to treasure and keep. Italy is a great place to learn about their culture and way of life. Located in World Showcase between Germany and the American Adventure.

One of my favorite pavilions in Epcot. Love the Venetian, Florentine, and Roman architecture throughout the place. So many photo opportunities here, the 83 ft tall campanile (bell tower) is a sight. The highlight for me here is the restaurant Via Napoli (get reservations) the pizza here is the real deal, absolutely amazing...so good! See separate review. Lot's of other food and drink options, cannolis are very good. Lot's of different shops to walk through and purchase authentic products.

So this is probably one of our top 3 pavilions to stop at when at Epcot. You will obviously find some good wine and good food at the restaurants. During festival times though we have not been very impressed with the food at the festival stop but this year for Festival of lights they had a 4 cheese mac that was really good. Some of the best pizza you will have outside of Italy is in Via Napoli. IMO Just get your basic pizza with red sauce and mozzarella. So good! It can get a little pricey but if you have a large group and get the big pizza it is actually one of the better values at Disney. The window that is outside of the restaurant is not good. It has way to much bread. Don't understand why they can't sell the same as you can get on the inside by the slice but I guess they want you sitting down and spending more money !! We really like going into the wine bar and chilling. Especially if it is baking hot or raining. Nice and relaxing and the wine is so good! We are not smokers but there is a smoking area by the fountain. The drink cart with the donkey is a popular spot as well. During the Festival of lights La Befana tells a great story for Italy. We stop every year. Our 'zen' stop here is the high tops out front of the wine shop. Great stop to enjoy a good wine or Italian beer. They can be hard to get as people tend to camp out but worth staking.

A bit quiet from what I am use to. I'm use to the street performers that are out and about. It was a good spot to take a break and have a beverage though. Make sure to go into the store and get chocolates. Always a treat

I love Italy in real life and at EPCOT. The wine bar is a great place to rest at night and the restaurant is the best I have had short of being in Italy. So glad it is about midway around. The shops are fun as well with many themed items.

Italy was underwhelming during our visit to the world showcase. We weren't in the mood for gelato, pizza or wine, so we didn't linger here.

Both are very good, the Via Napoli is harder to get into though, and I would recommend reservations for both.

Even if it's a hot sunny day, there are multiple shady spots to sit like the rocking chair on the veranda or the air-conditioned church. You can actually walk in most of the buildings. My 12-year-old son's favorite areas were the Lanier house with it's rooster and hens walking and clucking around, the goat in the back of the house, and the knot-tying area in the exhibit on Florida's cowmen. At $4 for children $6 for adults (if you get a coupon from the Ocala History Center), this is an educational experience in a beautiful setting. It hits every single time. Germany pavilion has no rides or shows. It's one of five that does not have a show or ride. Personally, I think every pavilion should have a show or a ride, but that's just me. But what Germany does offer is a quick service restaurant, a table service buffet, some beer stands (carts), the Weinkellar, a candy/chocolate store, and then some gift shops. I believe there are 4 different gift shops in the pavilion. The cast members who work here are also from Germany, so it's great to get to chat with them and learn about their home. They are always very friendly and willing to chat or teach you a German word or two. I really enjoy this pavilion, my wife and I always stop at the Weinkellar to grab a wine or beer and of course a Mozart moment (shot of the chocolate Mozart liqueur). We also enjoy grabbing a giant pretzel to snack on. There are not many seats in the pavilion so be prepared for that. The quick service is great if you want a bratwurst and the table service buffet is fantastic. They have live music and tons of German food to enjoy. Overall this is a great spot, great German beers and wine. Great food. Definitely make this a stop when you are at EPCOT ACES!
