Love the use of Roman inspired designs used for coins and architectural elements in the jewelry. She also uses many semiprecious stones like garnets, amethysts, onyx and turquoise. Online research led me to Sacchi Jewels, and I was wistful that I had just missed visiting the actual store having recently been so nearby. I could tell right away that the work was special, with particular care taken to craft pieces befitting of the time and patina of the coins. When the piece arrived it was even more beautiful in person - I actually gasped! The handiwork is so delicate and the gold is lustrous. What I also appreciate is that it is not heavy in the way you might expect a piece holding a coin. It is stunning on - it evokes so much history, beauty and intrigue.
