Italian Bakery is the best Italian bakery in all of Chicagoland-hands down. From the quality of the pastries to the service-it cannot be beat. My family and I are originally from New Jersey, and since moving to Chicago 15 years ago, I've had to bring back 1-2 lbs of rainbow cookies every time I visited home--until now. My kids absolutely love your rainbow cookies. My son's birthday is right after Christmas, and he recently asked for a rainbow cookie cake. We called the bakery during the busy holiday season, and despite the high demand, your team was kind enough to fulfill our order for his post-holiday birthday. The cake was perfect: perfectly moist, with the ideal balance of apricot and raspberry jam, and just the right amount of chocolate--not too thick or too thin. It was a huge success, but more importantly, your kindness in making it happen was the greatest part. The entire staff was sincere and helpful. I feel so lucky that I can give my children a taste of home right here in Chicago, thanks to your dedication.

Everything is fresh, the staff is wonderful and the prices are more than fair for the quality you're getting. Holiday wait times can be a bit excessive so prepare. Christmas dress warm and bring coffee. The line wraps the building. Totally worth it.

Oh yes!!!!! The BEST Italian bakery!!! 100% authentic!! This is my favorite place. Fanni #1. She always takes great care of us. We feel like family every time we go in there. Fanni always goes above and beyond for us. If there's anything new, she shows us. she makes us feel like she really cares about us!! we need more people like her in the world!! of course the rest of the staff is quite pleasant too. They have a huge variety of all pastries and cookies, pies, and cakes and of course, the delicious focaccia bread and more! Every single person needs to stop in here!!

The cream puff cake is my favorite cake of all time. It's so delicious. I agree with all of the other reviews that their customer service is awful and they can be pretty rude. Just go in, get your pastries pay your cash and leave. Otherwise go to a less good bakery and get better service ‍

I went in early this morning, before 7am, to pick up some paczkis, their awesome cinnamon raisin bread and my dad's favorite, the Swedish Flat. And we weren't disappointed. So the front counter space is big. Their inside space to wait is, I believe, a little bit bigger compared to their old location. They still have their shelving in there with kolaczkis, assorted breads and pre-boxed paczkis. They are still getting everything together from their move and they didn't have a lot of pazckis available, which is ok because we aren't at Fat Tuesday yet amd last year you could place an order for them online. But their customer service is great as usual, and customers leave with smiles on their faces. I asked one of the employees there how have the longtime customers taken to the new building and she said so far it's been a mix. I love the new place and can't wait to see how they perform when they are all don't acclimating to their new home. Also, they have a awesome looking espresso machine but it isn't up and running when I was there. Thanks for being able to replace my hole in my heart when our local bakery closed a ling time ago.

It has that traditional neighborhood bakery feel with display cases full of cookies, donuts, pastries, breads, and cakes. The bakery has been around since 1959 and is known for making many of its items from scratch, which really shows in the quality. Jarosch Bakery +1 The selection is impressive. Their butter cookies, coffee cakes, sweet rolls, and donuts are standouts, and everything looks fresh and carefully made. If you're picking up dessert for a gathering or ordering a custom cake for a celebration, this is the kind of bakery that has built a reputation for doing those things really well. The place can get busy, especially around holidays, but that's usually a good sign that people keep coming back. Prices are a bit on the higher side compared to grocery store bakeries, but the quality and traditional baking make it worth it. Overall, Jarosch Bakery is a great spot if you appreciate classic bakeries that focus on fresh, scratch-made pastries and desserts. It's the kind of place that feels like a local tradition.

Sweet N Brew has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with a European-style cafe feel. When we visited, we were the only ones sitting inside for a while. Several pick-up orders were coming and going, but having the space mostly to ourselves made the experience feel calm and relaxing. I ordered an iced caramel latte, and the owner, who was also working the counter, asked how sweet I preferred my drinks. She even mentioned she could adjust the flavor if needed. The latte was absolutely perfect on the first try. It was creamy, smooth, and well-balanced without being overly sweet. I also ordered a scoop of coffee gelato in a cone, which paired beautifully with my drink and tasted rich and authentic. What really stood out was the owner herself. She made friendly conversation while taking my order, and it was clear how passionate she is about her business and the quality of what she serves. That personal touch made the visit even more memorable. I do wish this spot were closer to me since I live in Schaumburg, but it is absolutely worth the drive. I cannot wait to come back and would highly recommend Sweet N Brew to anyone looking for great coffee, delicious gelato, and genuinely warm service.
