The place is located on 2nd level of a building,out driver droppep is off maybe 3 blocks away from here so while walking we took advantage of time to take some photos,the place is like a medieval one old structures around and some of the road were made of bricks. The stairs going to the restaurant is so easy you can never go wrong because each step of the stair theres the name of the restaurant written in it,it actually looks very nice on a photo,i posted it with this review. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant since we were morethan 10 and all of us do not speak Turkish its our tourist guide who explained everything one by one it took a while to place orders. We had lots of goodies in the table,meal here always comes with flat bread or the one that likes a balloon plus a dipping sauce and free Turkish tea. Presentation of all the dishes were excellent and appetizing. I never tasted the lamb because i dont eat lamb no offensement but it has a smell that i cant tolorate. All the other dishes were superb,huge portion for all the serving and pricewise it is affordable i gezz foods in Turkey isnt that expensive. Service is excellent,no wifi but theres TV and when we came a Turkish music is playing in the overhead speaker,so relaxing. Noise level became above average when we came hahaha we are noisy tourists,neat wash room interior decor is like middle east simple with golden ornaments and plants,and they have aquarium and i assumed those shoul of fish were Turkish fish hahahhaa. This is one of the best restaurants we had during the entire tour but actually on the 12th day out of 18 day tour i am already looking for a burger and chowmien hahaha kinda done with kebab. If i will be given a chance to visit Turkey again for sure this place will be on my lists to revisit. Good for family and kids,parking is free on selected location our tour driver claimed it is a bit far. Accept credit card and cash.

The Iskender has bread in the bottom with a tomato sauces and a fried butter cream to top it off with yougurt on the side. I highly recommend this place if you like gyro. There meat is 100% cow beef. The meat was cooked so well it makes you want to eat another plate. I also recommend the dessert kaymakli kunefe which is like a filo dough with cheese inside and pistachio bits around it plus cream. The location is in the middle of the city and the place has two floors and restrooms. Go visit HD Iskender --- HD for Highly delicious.
