They are the smaller of the two but stock much more magazines. They have an entire wall filled with magazines of all kinds music, fashion, cars, knitting, pregnancy etc. I've found I can usually find the magazine I'm looking for here when the other newsagents doesn't stock it. They also have the daily newspapers. They also have shelves full of puzzle books like sudoku and crosswords, local magazines from Comunn Eachdraidh's, fios etc. To the back of the shop is a section for stationary, cards, gift wrap and pens. An added bonus since Woolies closed down. They have a selection of confectionary, soft drinks and a fridge with sandwiches as well. So many times when you go in here for a paper you come out with much more!

You can order your newspapers and magazines here to make sure you get them everyday. They also have a great selection of stationary, party stuff like balloons and crepe paper, diaries and notebooks and a fab selection of greetings cards at very reasonable prices. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. The only downside to the shop is that it's quite small so can sometimes feel a tad claustrophobic

This is the only shop which has a large range of the daily newspapers available (weather permitting of course!). They have plenty of frozen and canned foods. Also fresh bread, rolls and baking from the bakers in Stornoway are available daily. They have a selection of pies and sandwiches each day and on Saturdays they stock several portion of red thai chicken stir fries from the butchers in town which are delicious. This is also the only place in Ness where you can buy petrol or diesel.

Our clothes were cleaned thoroughly and the grease spots were removed. Everything was returned to us neatly folded, with a complementary notepad and pen in the bag. The proprietor was very friendly, and the cleaning was complete by the agreed pickup time. The price for all this service was low, indeed, I would have happily paid more. Euroclean is Stornoway's only dry cleaners which is not a good thing…read more As a result of there being no competition the owner doesn't seem to care about the garments or customer care at all. The amount of people who've received garments that have been shrunk or completely ruined, not due to incompetence as I'm sure they're able to do it properly, but through lack of interest and care in doing things properly. They also provide a kilt hire service but this is also not recommended. The kilts have not been cared for and looked after, the rage available is very poor and often pieces af the accessories are missing from a hire outfit. Another service offered is Costume Hire. The costumes are now very old and worn and on an island as small as stornoway it gets tiring seeing the same costumes at fancy dress events all the time. People I know have even been turned away from hiring a set of costumes for a party as they just couldn't be bothered. Poor products and services and awful customer service, not recommended at all
