The amount of people who've received garments that have been shrunk or completely ruined, not due to incompetence as I'm sure they're able to do it properly, but through lack of interest and care in doing things properly. They also provide a kilt hire service but this is also not recommended. The kilts have not been cared for and looked after, the rage available is very poor and often pieces af the accessories are missing from a hire outfit. Another service offered is Costume Hire. The costumes are now very old and worn and on an island as small as stornoway it gets tiring seeing the same costumes at fancy dress events all the time. People I know have even been turned away from hiring a set of costumes for a party as they just couldn't be bothered. Poor products and services and awful customer service, not recommended at all

Many locals also hire from them, they also have various sizes of vans and tippers. Their rates are fair and you can hire a vehicle out for half a day, a day or overnight. Probably for several days as well. A credit card and drivers license (obviously) is needed as well as the usual rules to hiring a car. I think they have a website or if not call ahead and the staff will answer any questions you may have.

You can drop of your parcels at their depot in Stornoway or they can collect. They then deliver your items quickly. They mainly deliver/pick up from The Islands, Aberdeen and Glasgow. Although they usually bring over items from other mainland couriers as well. They are based up a side street around from Ingy's garage and are open all through the week (I'm unsure about Saturdays). I've found their drivers always take care of your packages, although sometimes their delivery times aren't what they say it will be (I'm yet to find a courier who deliver when they say they will lol!) They would be the ones I recommend as they always give a good price whether you are sending 1 box or 20!

When they arrived here I found it to be extremely well wrapped and protected. They asked where I wanted it, and, even though it was an awkward transit they placed it just where I wanted it. Their whole manner was exemplary and far exceed my expectations, when offered a small recompense for their work it was refused with the comment 'put it to charity'. They also take catalogue returns free of charge. When ordering from Argos catalogue, the only way to get it delivered up to the island is via Woody's. You need to call or go into their office and place your order with them. They then tell you when your items have arrived and for a small fee can deliver it for you if you are unable to pick it up. The staff in the office and friendly and helpful and their drivers are always careful with your items.

I can't remember it not being there to be honest. When buying a new bike this is the place to go and if you bring in your old bike they will give you some money off the new one (depending on its condition of course). If you are having problems with your bike faulty brakes, flat tyres etc they help you fix your bike (for a small fee) The staff are friendly and helpful! The shop is full of bikes and a great place to go to get your first or seventh bike!

This is the place to come when you are struggling with which career path you wish to take. It does not take long to get an appointment with one of the advisers who can see you any time during the day and as many times as you need. Their advice is great and helpful. I struggled for a while to decide what to do and reluctantly went to see someone here and I'm glad I did. Their advice was excellent and truly helped me find a career I'd love doing in the long run. They help with training opportunities, how to write a good CV and supply lots of information when you decide which field you wish to work in.
