The clothes are $$$, however, a lot of the clothes for the genre are well stitched and put together by some notable names in the fashion genre. I've had a pair of Trip NYC pants for 5 years with good wear. When you think about it it's better to spend a lot on something that will last rather than buying a few pairs of cheap pants. You end up really spending more for the cheap stuff in the long run than just investing in a piece right from the gate. If this is your primary style than I can see why this place would be expensive. I'm a working admin/book keeper, therefore, I only need a few pieces in this fashion line, therefore, investment is minimal. It does annoy me that some things are not tagged for pricing which is an indication that I will need to bring out the credit card. I find the staff very helpful.

Sure, their job is to sell, but the goal should be customer retention. I won't be going back, as the last item I bought was really too big for me, and I didn't realize it until after I'd taken the tags off. I don't mind having the odd alteration done, but since that was the fourth time in two years I've been horribly disappointed after the fact, I'll stick to shopping in my favourite stores in Victoria and Vancouver from now on, where the staff know me and always steer me in the right direction.

We got new window's , so we needed some new blinds. Paula was great at showing us our options…read more,placing the order, then when the blind's arrived she wasn't happy with the product and sent them back . Our new order came in and it was a complete difference, we are so happy with them! And the installer Pete was excellent , he was the one who didn't like how the first order worked and brought it to Paula's attention. Budget Blind's did a fantastic job and I can't imagine that it could have worked out any better we are completely satisfied .

She showed us just the right amount of options (not overwhelming but included size, height, rocking or not, electronic or manual features, etc.) and helped demonstrate the options of the different chairs and also helped us choose a chair best suited to our needs and a colour best suited to our decor (based on the options available). We're new to the Courtenay/Comox area and she even gave us a little helpful information about living in the area and some of the local background. As sales people go - she was perfect. Very aligned with us, our tempo, style and personality. A great experience and we're greatly looking forward to our new, very comfortable chair! If they don't have the chair you want in the colour you want, they will order it (you choose from the available options) and it will be made to your specifications. Our only regret is that we have to wait for our new comfy chair to be delivered :-)
