I came in here on a Sunday, because I needed a hair cut for a meeting on Monday. This is not my go to barber, but I needed a hair cut that Sunday. I arrived and there was no wait. The young man that cut my hair was friendly (reason for giving two stars) . I explained that I wanted a skin fade and a size 1 on top. I figured they do tons of skin fades due to the local military base. After about 40 mins I can see in the mirror that it is not going well. The gentlemen continues to try to blend my fade in but it's just not happening. I know this would not end well so I just tell him " it looks fine man" otherwise I feel I would have been there another 30 mins with him trying to fix it. I pay and leave a tip regardless . I go home with my "haircut" gf immediately notices a big difference on my hair and wants to take me somewhere to fix it. I sucked it up and walked around for a couples days looking like I had a lid on my head (see pictures I attached ). This shop is the best in the county for sure. My kids have been getting their hair cut for about 14 years by Pattie, the owner. The shop is clean, friendly, and professional. The place gets busy will all the military folks coming off base to get their own first-rate cut, so plan or call ahead to get wait time estimates or be prepared to wait 10 minutes. Walked in and inquired as to the wait as I had only 25 minutes. Was told I was next. Satisfied, I sat to wait for the chair to clear. The customer in the first chair nodded to the "it takes at least 10 minute for a haircut" sign and made a snide comment. Bad enough but not the shops fault. His barber responded by leaning over and whispering in his ear further on the matter. Couple of glances my way later, I'd had enough of the sophomoric behavior and left. Not going back. read more
