I ended up going to a LOT of Isadora stores during my trip to Argentina, but this was the first location I visited. This chain carries trendy costume jewelry, accessories, bags, and scarves at reasonable prices -- especially the sale rack!
The store isn't huge, but the inventory is packed tightly together onto the walls, so there's a lot to look at inside. The sale rack is up front and has markdowns up to 75%, so definitely check that out first! I ran in to grab an inexpensive scarf on a cold rainy day and found some very cute print and woven styles.
The jewelry has a very Modcloth feel: in spring 2015, that means chevrons, pastels, animal heads, and statement necklaces in geometric shapes. It tends to be trendy stuff, but they also have more basic styles like pearl pendants and simple gold and silver earrings. The prices are also in line with what you'd pay on Modcloth, but generally inexpensive.
They also carry wallets and small purses, notebooks, and a few home decor items like novelty coat hooks. So what I'm trying to say is that this is a store that guys will find incredibly boring and wait for you outside.
Service tends to be pretty hands-off unless you actually go up and ask a question, which is fine with me. They will ask if your purchase is a gift, and if you say yes, they remove the price tag and wrap it nicely in tissue and a bag with a sticker, which I thought was a nice touch.
A fun place to try out some local trends or to pick up some spur-of-the-moment jewelry if you didn't pack enough! read more
