Wow! What more can I say about this amazing dog lodge. We called last minute to get in our three pups and they were so accommodating and helpful to make sure we had everything in line that we needed to board the dogs! When you arrive the facility will blow you away, with the San Juan mountains in the backdrop this large property is breath taking and I can rest assured that our pups are staying at a state of the art dog lodge! Now let's talk about how the stay went, all three dogs came home exhausted from all of the play they had with friends! Plus we added on a shampoo on the last day so they came home smelling clean too! A fun thing they do is they add pictures of your pup to their Facebook page so you can see how your pups are doing! I can't say enough nice things about this place. I don't think I will choose another fur baby daycare to take my dogs babies too. I was nervous to take my pups somewhere to be taken care of while I was gone for a few days. The drive in alone calmed my nerves and put me at ease that my babies were going to be more than taken care of but the facility and front office staff more than exceeded my expectations and hopes for my furbabies while I was away for a few days. These wonderful folks go above and beyond while your dog is in their care. The attention to detail to make their experience as comfortable and fun as they can until they are reunited with their humans is unmatchable. My dogs and I love Iron Will! They are the only ones we will consider & trust with our fur babies. We love that they are able to spend most of the day outside playing and not in a kennel like most traditional boarding facilities. They are very flexible & accomodating with our work and travel schedules and they even allow for pick up and drop offs on the weekends, during certain times, which is awesome! The facility is always clean and welcoming. Our dogs never want to leave on pick up day and they are always excited to go stay and play. Absolutely wonderful place to take my dog when going out of town and I can't take her with me. I didn't mind the paperwork that had to be initialed and signed...I'm pretty sure this is typical of a facility like this. We have the satisfaction of knowing that our dog is well taken care of. She's always happy when we take her. The owner is friendly and an obvious dog lover. I love the fact that the dogs don't have to be cooped up all day long and have the chance to run around, pkay and be dogs! Prices are comparable and drop-off and pick-up times are convenient. Our heeler/BC mix Wyatt loves to spend time at Iron Will. The staff are efficient and wonderful!! They provide a safe & fun environment for day care and boarding. Wyatt is a regular for daycare and had boarded for 3 weeks last May when he was just a young pup. When our trip went haywire because of Covid he had to stay an extra week which was no problem and such a relief! They took excellent care of our young boy and he bonded with the entire staff. The facility is clean and well managed. We won't take him anywhere else. He comes home pooped from daycare and a tired heeler is a good heeler! We'll done Iron Will! read more

Iron Will is a great place to take your dog, either just to play or overnight. The lodge is exceptionally clean and the staff is exceptionally dedicated to caring for your pet. Our Daisy, an American Fox Hound, just loves going to Iron Will. She gets to socialize with Doggie Friends in their play area and run her long legs off. When it's time to go home, sometimes she is a little reluctant because she has had such a great time. Iron Will dog lodge is not a dog kennel, it's more like a doggie resort. We love this boarding at this facility! If you are traveling or vacationing in the beautiful land of the San Juan Mountains, in Western Colorado, this is the place to board your loved canine family members. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the facility is very well maintained. We travel to this area, in late September, and this has been our third stay for our girl, Kona. love this place my dog is so excited when he gets to spend a day in daycare that he runs in and greets the ladies. I am also surprised at how excited he is when the day is over he is like a child who had an amazing day with all of his friends and can't wait to tell you about it. We dropped our dog, Remy, off on 10 Nov 2023 for a 2 night stay. They do a really super job with Remy; he loves to go there. Their open play yard is awesome as it allows the dogs to play together during the day. They also have techs there to supervise them all of the time during open play. Of course, if you are inclined, you can opt out of open play. The staff at Iron Will has been great. They make check in and pick up easy. With some earlier coordination, they have the ability to help any specific needs you or your dog has. read more

My wife and I regularly take our three dogs here when we need dog boarding and absolutely love this place. The staff are very friendly and great with our dogs. They provide excellent communication whether its through email or phone. Our dogs also love it to the point where they don't even want to hang around to say goodbye to us when they get there and are so excited when we pull into the parking lot. The staff at Iron Will Dog Lodge are absolutely amazing. They LOVE dogs and it shows. They contacted me to let me know my dog was experiencing some "digestive" issues and made arrangements with a vet to have him looked at. He was prescribed some medications and back to his happy self when I picked him up days later. My dogs usually don't like kennels, and will fight me all the way to the front door. However, they show no hesitation when I drop them off at Iron Will. They have a very friendly and caring staff, who truly care about dogs, no matter the breed. We love having Iron Will close by for daycare and boarding. Their app makes it super easy to make reservations and request any other of the services they offer, like baths, special feeding instructions, etc. They always make us feel so welcome and our dogs are always so excited to go see all their friends there - canine and human. I've been bringing my puppy, Athena, to doggy day care since she was 4 months old. It's her happiest place and I couldn't thank the staff enough for how well they take care of her. Luke always has a great time at Iron Will and I know he's well taken care of there because he is always so excited when we arrive there and in a good mood when I pick him up. Absolutely love boarding my pup Ms. Belle Emory! She loves going out to the dog lodge, they offer half day, full day, and overnight! Belle has made so many friends and loves the staff so much! My husband and I use Iron Will Dog Lodge on a regular basis. Both of our dogs, Retta & Tucker, get so excited when I make the turn off of the highway. They KNOW it will be play time with other dogs. We have been boarding our lab here for several years, multiple times a year. We never worry about him while we are gone. Trapper gets so excited just puling into the parking area.
