Our coonhound can be sometimes difficult to handle (he is loud and slightly anxious) yet they were able to keep him calm, comfortable and were truly happy to have them for the day. The facility was spotless and the boutique outside the kennel area was pretty awesome. Everything you would need was already there at the most reasonable prices. It was really nice to see they already carried brands of dog food we use, Taste of the Wild and No-Hide chews. A ton of treats and dog accessories to choose from. I have taken in cats and dogs for anything from shots, checkups, ear infections and coyote attack. They have always been fair, kind and took care of my pet's needs. I found all of that with Ted and am SO pleased that we sent our Vizsla, Gable there for a month of training. From the first moment we met Ted (over the phone as he answered our many questions) we knew he was a professional and most importantly, cares for every dog as if they were his own. Ted sent us pictures and kept us updated about Gable's progress over the month and thoroughly walked us through how to reinforce the training when we went to pick him up. Gable is now a much calmer, responsive dog who understands that his humans are his leaders thanks to what Ted instilled in him. We will be returning to Cottonwood for boarding and would highly recommend to those with new dogs or stubborn behaviors alike!

For context, I live a couple of states away and I still make a trip to Moab if my dogs ever need any expensive procedures such as dental cleanings. Every vet around me quoted me between $1100 to $1600 for cleanings / extractions. At this vet clinic I brought BOTH of my dogs here for dental cleanings and extractions. One had nine teeth pulled and one had seven teeth pulled. COMBINED, including pain meds to take home, I still paid almost half as much money as the bottom quote of every vet I've contacted around me. This vet clinic is the only one I am aware of that is genuinely trying to ensure your animals are able to receive care by NOT robbing you blind. There are no price regulations in the vet industry so many vets inflate their prices to absurd levels. Okay, now that is out of the way. The staff here are great. They are great at communicating information and ensuring you know how to properly care for your animals after procedures. They encourage you to call with questions if you have any. Everyone I have encountered has been friendly and polite. I feel like they love to see my pets with how they talk to them. If I can't be with my dogs, then I like knowing people who care about my pets, are taking care of them. The building is small but their hearts are big. To all of you who live in Moab, count yourselves blessed to have such a wonderful vet clinic available to you.

I called late, like 9pm last night from my cell in an RV park not too far away. They were willing to travel to me but I ended up going to the. They readily agreed to put my dog to sleep in my RV so he wasn't scared. They let me feed Cargo tons of treats and a raw steak before. She listened to his heart and confirmed it was failing again. And they let me hold him and talk to him as long as I wanted. We talked about the breed and how he was incredibly lucky to like 13 years as Weimaraner's tend to like roughly 11years. Although I don't remember the names, they were sisters and the tech gave me a big hug afterwards as I was uncontrollably sobbing. They were patient and kind and gracious to a stranger who was passing through taking her best friend on one last road trip. It was very busy for noon on a Wednesday, but I was able to get two of the larger capacity express washers immediately. I easily fit two loads in each washer and then used two driers with no wait. The washers cost $6.50 each and the driers cost me $1.00 each. I had four loads of laundry washed, dried and folded in 40 minutes and it only cost me $15.00. Place was clean and I would recommend.

Just drive your car through an automatic car wash, it will be more clean and you will have spent way less money. Awful.
