Iron Ponytail Farm made our daughter's birthday amazing. It wasn't just a quick "lesson" with a few laps around the riding arena. They gave a full experience-taught grooming, how to mount, and different types of riding. It really gave our daughter a feeling of responsibility and accomplishment on top of a great time riding. The staff was incredible; they took their time, explained every step, and really made an effort to connect with her and her friend. I would highly recommend this little farm as go-to for anyone considering a birthday experience or for riding lessons. We look forward to many more lessons while stationed here. read more

My son has been part of the IPF family since July 2021. I say family because that is what it feels like there. The owner and all of the working students are kind and compassionate, and their love of the animals shines through in everything they do...right down to "baby proofing" the farm for a foal they are expecting soon. They take the time to get to know their students and their families. My son is now a working student at IPF, and the values they are teaching him about hard work, compassion, confidence and generally just being a good human shine through in every aspect of the person he is growing into. I couldn't be prouder of my son for what he does there, and it is truly an honor that IPF has welcomed him and all of us into their heard. Thank you, IPF! read more

This review is LONG overdue! Iron Ponytail Farm is hands down the best incredible horse farm I and my family have ever experienced. The love and passion that exists on this farm is one I have never seen before! It's truly amazing. Navairre is TRULY an incredible woman and horse instructor and the compassion she has is heartwarming. I love how she doesn't just teach how to ride correctly, but teaches how to CARE for your horse and incorporates the entire equine experience. We were blessed to find Iron Ponytail Farm to take my daughter there for her 3rd birthday. They COMPLETELY blew her birthday celebration out of the park and made it SO special for her! The attention to detail was amazing. We walked into the barn and ROO had a birthday hat on as well as there were balloons for her. My eyes filled with tears because it was the most incredible experience for a 3 year old especially the love she has for horses grew even more. We can't thank them enough and everyone should be blessed to experience this incredible FARM and all the love that is there! read more

History

Established in 2017.

As animal lovers, our mission is to offer an opportunity for people who would like to learn about small farm operation and maintenance and/or just spend time with a variety of animals in a safe and controlled environment. Our approach is unique from other establishments in that we focus on teaching clients and students how to care for and properly handle the animals in addition to introducing riding in a basic and easy to understand environment tailored to each individual. Our hope is that we can provide down to earth, practical application and mentoring to a wide variety of people who want to learn how to connect to not only the animals, but to the best version of themselves as human beings. We also have a special goal of helping our military, first responders, and children to find a unique outlet to express themselves in a positive way or gain exposure to animals that they may not otherwise have access in a safe and affordable manner.

We wanted something special for our daughters 10th birthday and after looking around I found Iron Ponytail Farm. This place sounded amazing everything they do and what the stand for, and they did not disappoint! The Manager Mrs Mazzeo, offered a learning experience like no other. Those eleven little girls had the time of their lives and learned so much about taking care of horses, in a fun and safe environment. They didn't just get to ride the horses. First they had to learn how to prepare the horses, how to groom them, how to communicate with them and how to act around them. It was obvious, the amazing job Mrs. Mazzeo does, when we got to meet her two helpers for the day, who are also her students. Baylee and Kitana, these two young ladies were very knowledgeable, respectful, caring, and did an amazing job managing and teaching the little ones. I am extremely thankful and pleased we got to use their services. We will definitely be back for lessons. I strongly recommend this amazing family owned business in Stafford. read more

We came upon Iron Ponytail Farm as a Google research. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff that works here and the owner. My daughter has grown in other areas besides learning to ride that I was not expecting. I have heard of the wonders of horses and how they are used as a therapy but now I am a true believer. A lot of this has to do with how well taken care of and loved the horses are by Ms. Navairre and the staff. The programs are very well organized and the kids learn how to take care of the horses as well, so later on if they decide to have a horse they can have a good foundation where to start. We are coming back for Spring! read more

We held my daughter's 5th birthday party at the Iron Ponytail Farm last week. The girls are still talking about it! The girls absolutely enjoyed getting to know the horses, grooming, caring for them, and letting their personalities shine. Ms.Rue (white horse) even wore a birthday hat!. This place is so clean with gorgeous views. The owners are very personable and I enjoyed our time together. read more
