Very keen. I've won many of their competitions. First I won tickets to a Pogues concert at the O2 from this newspaper. Then I've won a couple of DVDs and late last year tickets to the Irish Film Festival London. The quirky films were over different venues (Tricycle in Kilburn, Riverside Studios in Hammersmith and a posh art institution on Pall Mall). Very good films and so interesting.
Once I've finished with it I give it to the Irish cleaning lady in my block of flats. As with the Irish World Newspaper, I probably wouldn't agree with most of the published opinions. I'm in favour of having Northern Ireland as part of Britain even though I've got two great-grandmothers who were Irish - Murphy and Ryan. But the Irish Film Festival prize last year was most atmospheric taking me to different parts of London! read more
