Irby library is the most traditional of the Heswall, Pensby and Irby libraries over on the Wirral. It;s got a really old school vibe to it, with big old wooden bookshelves and dated yellowed books. It's a really relaxing place to study and I would recommend it for this purpose over any of the other Wirral libraries.
I often used to go here after college to get homework done as I found the atmosphere very relaxing and the staff incredibly obliging. They have internet, DVD loan and book loan facilities, as well as printing facilities from 5p per sheet. They also have a photocopier if that's what you need!
They also have a back catalogue of phone books that goes back for years, this is good if you're trying to trace somebody in the area or you're a stalker. read more
