*After seeing this review they offered to return my money in exchange for taking down my review, as much as I need the money I feel important to keep this up* Unless for some reason you happen to be wealthy tourist looking to burn 80$ in 15 minutes on something that is a complete sham then do yourself a favor and come no where close to this place. This was the worst "Psychic" experience of my life. I want to support local businesses, I grew up here and have watched all the authenticity slip away. Unfortunately Madame Rosinka's business is a potential threat to people seeking genuine healing and guidance and for that reason I feel the need to warn future potential clients. I am clairvoyant myself and have many genuinely gifted clairvoyants and healers in my life, though I knew of no one in Santa Barbara. I was in a very dark and confusing time, in financial crisis, and needing an outside perspective. In the past I have found it very worth the money to meet with my usual people. This was just like a slap in the face. Was everyone else's sessions as brief and rushed as mine? One thing people must know about this business is Madame Rosinka is not the person you meet with, you will meet with her daughters. I've heard great things about Madame Rosinka but the gift of clairvoyance is not just inherited. We all have purpose on this planet, very few are truly able be a genuine pure channel for psychic guidance. She didn't pick up on my clairvoyance at all, which is a huge sign. Im also a gay/non-binary person, and she didn't pick up on that...although somehow most people can guess just by my pretty obviously queer appearance. Believe it or not, similar to how a straight/cis-gendered person might get offended is someone assumed they were gay or trans, gay/trans people find it offensive when you assume everyone it straight/cis-gendered. It's a sign of a closed mind. When I brought the fact I am gay to her attention she got awkward and basically continued to suggest I should not trust my insinct to resist some supposed financial help that was going to be offered to me by an older man that would be romantically interested it me. Interesting advice indeed. She asked me if I had a specific question and when I told her what it was she literally just changed the subject, and when I left she said "Good luck figuring things out." She didn't call in any spirit guides/angles/ancestors at the beginning or do ANY sort of ritual/cleansing/moment of silence. Unlike most real psychics she wouldn't let me record the audio of our session...when I asked why she said it was because the energy interferes with the messages she gets...yet she has you sitting right next to an open door to one of the most busy/loud streets in town. The most basic thing about tarot is to do it in a very quiet place with no distractions and do SOME sort of ritual to start. She did absolutely nothing. I also found it quite odd that when she placed down the tarot cards she didn't do a spread she just one by one laid then down as quickly as she could while she was speaking. Maybe she just uses this as a way to time how long her sessions are because I've seen and heard of a million different ways to do readings but this is not one of them. You need to place the cards down also so the person you're reading for can see them and make their own interpretation/see what you're seeing. A true clairvoyant should interact with you not just mindlessly talk at you.
