Made by the community, you will find woodwork, handmade toys, arts and china painting and lovely manchester bearing elaborate and pretty needlework. You'll find jewellery and cloth bags, and train souvenirs for your little champs to enjoy. It's a perfect shop that offers just the right amout of Goolwa charm into your home.

We had multiple large awning windows ordered to specifications and were happy with the service and quality. A sliding door was then ordered and again we were happy with the quality and service. All windows and the door included delivery. Installation was done by ourselves and proved successful. We recently completed our widow refit ordering a large commercial picture window. Delivery and installation for this window was arranged by South Coast Windows and Doors. We are very satisfied with the completed installation. The onsite installers were friendly and polite. This is a quality company.

Stratco at Victor Harbor is a great example of an old style hardware store, delivering excellent…read moreservice and carrying just about everything you need, without being a big, soulless department store like many of the bigger hardware chains. The prices are good, too, which is always nice to see. On a recent visit I stumbled across a lonely sprinkler on the shelf - less than $10 but it had a multitude of patterns you could set it to, and proudly proclaimed both Australian made and a years warranty. I grabbed it to use at the van down at Victor, and would love a second one for home but haven't found one up here in the metro area - it's little things like this that you'll find here that make it worth wandering through and searching the shelves. There's a full building store here too, which can be quite convenient for a weekend project. There isn't a huge stock of items, but there is a huge range - and the staff would have to be the friendliest and most helpful people in any hardware store I've been to. Fun to shop at. :)

I can only rate on the drinks we had, as we did not eat but I had a sugar- free iced coffee which was AMAZING and my husband had a smoothie which he loved. The place has all sorts of arty, crafty nick knacks for sale and the menus are glued inside old record covers. There is a quaint outdoor area filled with old teapots hanging from miniature trees. I can honestly say there hasn't been a visit I've made there where I haven't found a bargain, either a book worth nabbing, clothing (I found a faux leather jacket I'd been eyeing off at Myer for $90 about a month before hand, brand new, for less than $10 once) or some fascinating ornament or kitchen gadget - this place is one of those veritable treasure trove. The girls love fossicking through the childrens section, and both they and my wife have picked up pre-loved jewelery perfect for their styles. This is a must visit for us when we're at Victor - thoroughly recommended.

In the brief time I was outside, taking the photo and noting some details, at least a dozen people stopped and had a look at it, unable to browse inside - at 11am on a sunday morning, these people should be the bread and butter for the store, it's when people are in town. Inside, when they are open, is a treasure trove for the book lover - it's packed full of old and newer releases, and esoteric books you simply don't find elsewhere. I've seen books that I'd consider collectible in the windows for as little as $5. They keep the quality of the books nice and high, too. There's not a lot of room to move, inside - and the books can get quite mixed up - to me, that's part of the charm though - you need to spend time looking at what's on offer, but when you do spend the time there you tend to find things you didn't even know you were looking for. Well worth a visit - as long as you're there in the mid afternoon. :)

Then again I suspect…read moreI was simply driving past slowly (considering that it was Port Elliot during the Holidays), and saw it out of the corner of my eye. Mind you, it does seem to be a thing for there to be bookshops in small towns, especially towns that happen to the a destination for people on holidays. Anyway, this place really wasn't all that bad, though I can't say that there was a huge collection that caught my eye. Still, there were some interesting books here.
