Nilam Patel PA is horrible. She is very unprofessional and quick to diagnose while not considering all symptoms.

Unsure of these negative reviews but realize everyone's experience can be different. I had a fantastic experience. I was a new patient and was given an appointment right away, not weeks or months away. Staff was very nice and efficient. Saw PA Nilan Patel, very nice, very sharp as good as any DR (MD or DO) I've seen in past with diagnosis, skill and ability. Very glad I came here. Now my new primary place. read more

So an update... It appears because I was very unhappy with this office's performance, I decided to tell them I was looking at "Possibly" leaving and finding an office with folks that actually care to be nice...and help the sick, because of my frustration with how I was treated mainly by their tyrannical office staff. . Several months later I called back to have my prescription filled, and I was told by the receptionist, that a "A Doctor", Unnamed of course, to put my records in storage and not consider me to be a patient any longer. When I told the "Receptionist" that I hadn't quite decided to leave yet and that my meds had run out..., I was told "We don't want you as a patient any longer, and since you are considered a new patient, we aren't taking on any new patients at this time". To see if that was actually true, I waited a few days and decided to call back and disguise myself as an actually new patient to see if I could be seen, I was told, "No problem, but an appointment date would be several weeks ahead". Really? Finally, I made one more call to this office to get my medical records sent to me. I was told "you have to call back, press #6, and leave a message for their medical records department. How long do you think that took? These people are entirely heartless and a shameful excuse for a "Family Doctors Office". I scheduled today late in the day. A medical student attended my appointment. I thought the student did a good job. He worked with Dr. Connor, and overall it went well. I thought the student asked the right questions in the premeeting, was very energetic and enthusiastic, and the diagnosis was what I thought. read more

Staff is AWFUL! I called for a refill of my anti-anxiety medicine and Linda, his receptionist, told me he would not refill my prescription unless I came in to the office. She didn't say he would call in 10 days worth until I was able to schedule an appointment, she demanded I come to the office that day. When did a receptionist get the power to deny meds to a patient? I asked to have the Dr. call me back and he didn't. Stay away from this place! read more

Very convenient location. I've never had to wait longer than 20 minutes. Glad I made the choice to switch to Dr. Ratner. Definitely beats driving to Philly to see my former primary care physician. read more

Dr. Connor and Tim are wonderful! HOWEVER, the receptionist staff are SO RUDE! I've been a patient for several years and they always give attitude on the phone! I am currently quite sick and needed a referral and have never had a professional speak so rudely to me. They need to understand they may be dealing with people who are sick. read more

I have been a patient here for years but I am now thinking of changing for a few reasons. 1) It took them a week to return a phone call; 2) even though I was just in the doctor's office (10 days) for a physical and didn't want to get medication for blood pressure I have to make an office visit for prescription; 3) my daughter had to tell them that she believes her problem is her sinuses after several visits but the main reason is 4) the receptionist (I believe her name was Danielle) was the rudest person I have ever talked to. Dr. Connor is a gem and I will miss him if I leave but I have now come to the conclusion that it is the insurance companies that have ruined the care that I received in the past. Their staff was great at 1 time but now most of them couldn't be bothered. read more

Terrible office. I was a patient in this office for many years and treated by laurel green and my care was great. She left and my care was taken over by Dr Connor. This office is worried about one thing and its the bottom dollar they are making. The patient care is zilch. There is no care or compassion towards the patient or if your problem is not cut and dry they do not have the time to spend figuring it out. The staff is rude also. I wouldn't recommend this practice to treat anyone. Worst experience ever read more

I saw on another website that the usual wait is 11 minutes. My son was waiting for Dr. Ratner for an hour and a half and when asked if there was a problem why he was waiting so long he was told no he would just have to wait. He asked for his co-pay back and left. We will be looking for another doctor read more

I was a patient at this office for many many years. With the exception of Tina in the office, the staff is rude, rude,rude. Dr. Ratner insists that any specialist you see, send him a report.....what for I don't understand, my specialist sends a report of my care every time I see him, yet when I needed care and called the office, first they don't have an appt. available so I request that dr call in my prescription, three days later I get a phone call, not from the dr himself or a nurse but some person in the office saying dr said call your specialist. Good Advice...however if my specialist had been available I would not have called the office. DUH!!! Also you call for an appt. and if you're lucky enough to get one, the average waiting time is 45 - 60 min...then they call you in and let you sit in the treatment room for another 15 mins. before the dr comes in to see you. HORRIBLE patient care! If I could rate this office in negative stars I would. I don't believe that the staff in this office, doctors included get that they are hired by patients.. not the other way around.
