I stumbled across this cute little bookshop on a walk through Graefekiez this week. I'd never seen…read moreit before, but that's usually because I am on bike when passing through this area. It's a small little shop, but it has a pretty great selection. Lots of English books, tons of German books, kids books, and other such things, like sections with recommendations based on the season, etc. If I lived in the neighborhood I imagine it would be my go-to spot.

I love a good bookstore, and what's more is that I love a good bookstore that is local. While…read moreDussmann might have the best selection around, I like to support my local bookstore as much as the next person. This includes being able to hit up the bookstore in my neighborhood instead of trekking halfway across the city to get what I want. But perhaps the best thing about Ebert und Weber is its selection. While it only consists of two small rooms and not massive floors, the books available and on display are top-notch. There are currents and classics, and the presentation is such that I feel like I want to buy every book there. In addition to having German books, there is also a sufficient English section, and there are even Moleskine planners (no new year is complete without one!). All in all, I love this place for its proximity, its selection, and its personal feel.

This bookstore is cute. They have fun books, English books as well, pretty envelopes and postcards…read morethat are perfect to send home from Berlin but aren't too touristy. And you can find washi tape and most probably a present for everyone here. But it's all a bit more pricy than normal... What I like most about this shop though, is the small merchandise they have; totebags and (free) postcards that say "Home is where your bookstore is" and stickers saying "This is not bought on Etsy". Cute.
