I…read moreasked her in French if she spoke English and she said "a little" so I tried to ask her a question and she began screaming at me that "when I'm in France I should speak French!!" I studied French for 5 years and know enough to make simple conversation. People like this make me sorry I traveled thousands of miles to come to this beautiful town. Not all people in Cassis are like her. Apparently they don't want our money spent in their store so let's not give them any. There are other grocers nearby such as SPAR where they are polite to tourists and understand where their pay comes from. I have never been treated so badly in a place of business!
