We got tickets for the Interislena boat - which is like a commuter bus service that goes down the river to various stops. The problem we had is that all the boats coming back were full so they kept passing us by -- we couldn't get on any boats until the last one came to pick us up quite late at night.
The ticket was reasonably priced at 950 Argentinian Pesos for the round trip. It's a cheap and easy way to explore the Tigre if you have time to wait. read more
