I called the Blind Biz after being stunned by the pricing quote I received from a different custom…read morewindow treatment provider. A friend in my neighborhood recommended the Blind Biz. Initially, Rich helped me with several simple privacy blinds and I looked through samples for the bamboo shades I had in mind for my family room. The privacy blinds arrived in just two weeks and the price for all 3 was less than one of the privacy blinds was going to cost in my first quote. The whole experience was perfect, so I decided to order nice bamboo shades for my family room through them too. These took a while longer but they're beautiful and fit perfectly. I took forever to decide on the color and Rich let me keep the samples as long as I needed and was never pushy about the process. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I recently replaced our kitchen cabinets and were delighted to work with Ron Bonner of…read moreWholesale Builder Supply, Inc. in Wixom. Ron was very helpful and patient as he explained the different grades of cabinetry available (I believe his company carries 9 varieties of kitchen and bath cabinets) and helped us choose the right style and color of cabinets for our project. Ron was also very helpful in addressing a number of questions we had, both before and after our cabinet selection, and always responded promptly to our emails and calls. He also came to our condo at least three times (and probably more), first to offer his input on design, which proved to be invaluable, and later to work out details, make changes, etc. and to participate in the delivery and installation of the cabinets. He also worked with my wife, who wanted to add a feature as a surprise to me, locating what she wanted, changing the plans as necessary to install it, etc., all without disclosing her surprise to me. Now that the cabinets have been installed, some adjustments/corrections/additions will be necessary. Ron has cooperated fully and promptly, including offering to do some work that is really the responsibility of the installing contractor, and we are completely confident that all final matters will be fully and fairly addressed/resolved as promptly as possible. Finally, this company's prices were highly competitive. We "price shopped" the cabinetry at other well known suppliers in Metro Detroit, and no one else even came close to matching, let alone beating, the price and quality Whole Builder Supply offered. In summary, we cannot say enough good things about Ron Bonner and Wholesale Builder Supply and recommend both without reservation.

Jessica was wonderful to work with and I was impressed enough with the experience that I wanted to share. I had a general idea of what we needed, and Jessica was very helpful in discussing options and making recommendations on a walk-in. They have a beautiful store and many options. I was sent home with several samples beautifully packaged and a "homework" assignment to get some rough measurements of my windows so that she could give a ballpark estimate. Probably within an hour of me sending over measurements, she had responded with a visual and intuitive quote for all in pricing including product and measure/install services. They have great warranties here and I had a 20% off promotion (on product and install) for after a move. The estimate was actually lower than (competitive with) other local window treatment specialty stores in Ann Arbor. We ended up going with a big box option as the option that fit best for us, but if we wanted greater peace of mind with higher quality product and excellent service, I definitely would have chosen The Shade Store.
