I cannot recommend the Memory Care Facility at Summerfield. If you choose to put a loved one there,…read moreplease have video surveillance in their apartment. It's the best way to know who's going into their apartment & whats going on. Keep an eye on the CNAs. It's awful when you see a CNA searching thru your dad's closet & items, even looking at the sizes in his hats. One CNA went into his room at 1am, turned on all the lights, woke up my dad & asked where his laundry basket was. We were misled on the care of our father. Nighttime medication given in daytime (nurse refused to give pm meds), showers 3x/wk (instead once or twice/wk), housekeeping 1x/wk (only came 2x in 8wks). My dad fell once in the main dining room & once in main hallway, since no one watches him. Broke his hip & femur. We moved our dad out of that overpriced apartment (awful smelly carpet) right after. Never again.

It felt like a homecoming not only was everyone kind, thoughtful and considerate but they remembered me and I felt important. My case manager, Sherie, was such such a blessing for me. She had everything in order for me to arrive at Pam after my surgery, including setting up my transportation from the hospital to the Pam facilities which were clean and comfortable. My care was top-notch. Dr. Ward and the physician assistants were on target with keeping my pain controlled and then caring for my other medicinal needs. The nurses and the nursing assistants are dedicated to all lives and I'm very grateful for their choice to serve others. The people who push me the most, encourage me, and made me think about what's right for my body are the occupational therapists, physical therapists and physical therapist assistants.
