On Friday march 25th I called our Medication in to be refilled we are required to call three days…read morebefore they are due because we are under pain med contract. Once again Cass pharmacy is causing my husband and I to problems about filling our pain medication. On March 25th I called to see if they were ready. Our PA fills them the day before our last fill date. Was told they would not be ready until the 26th which is when we had them filled in Feb. I called on the 26th and was told they didn't see an order to fill them. This is an attack on people who take pain meds. there is no recourse to for people who are disabled in Michigan when your being discriminated against people like this. I got upset and told them I was sick of them playing games , then I heard a bunch of people start laughing. So I confronted them about hearing them laugh, I told they were not funny , that there were interferring with our health care by not filling medication that we need. I told them this isn't funny and I was sick of their games. Immediatley they said it would be filled. They do this to us almost every month. We comply with the pain contract but Cass pharmacy and the women who work in the front office harass , and turn people away who are having chronic pain. This area is very difficult to get help. You have to drive over 60 miles one way to even see specialists. If you are a pain patient you understand how difficult that is for us. They don't care and now they think they can just force people to stop taking these medications. with dana nessel in charge of things how do you even file a complaint and actually get someone to listen. I am now having to take anxiety meds because of how these people treat us. They make you lose all hope an depression kicks in .. and then I have to fight that as well. I am sick , my husband is sick .. WHY do health officials think this is funny. WHY can;t they see that PAIN meds are why we still have QUALITY OF LIFE , its how we maintain our INDEPENDENCE so we don't end up in nursing homes .. I think they want us in a nursing home it just means more money for them :( upset an depressed in Michigan.. I want to move but that is hard to do when your poor. Not matter what I do this STATE an the people in it just keep you down.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I completely loved my doctor but the problem is the office staff. I drive just…read moreunder 2 hours because I liked my doctor so much. The office staff on the other hand has to be the most incompetent staff I have ever dealt with. I had an appointment today I scheduled a week ago to drive all the way there and at check in be told we no longer except your insurance. YOU COULDN'T TELL ME THAT WHEN I SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT? Not to mention this isn't the first time I had an issue. Last appointment I had was a video appointment and afterwards the office staff is supposed to call and schedule my next follow-up never received that phone call and this wasn't the first time that happened. My appointment before that one I called set up my appointment for the next day drive all the way down there and find out she never actually scheduled my appointment thankfully my doctor fit me in. I have had countless issues with this office these are just the big ones. So if you can deal with a incompetent staff and not being communicated to or be taken care of like you should be by the front office staff then you should be fine because I thoroughly liked my doctor. Don't reply with your typical call us at this number to voice your concerns because I don't care to I already voiced my concerns and you did nothing and fixed nothing. GET NEW STAFF THAT ACTUALLY DOES THEIR JOB!!

I LOVE the Direct Primary Care model! I went without a doctor for YEARS, almost 7 because I…read morecouldn't find a woman doctor that was taking new patients and could get see me in a reasonable amount of time. I ended up going to walk-in clinics. My doc at Family Physicians gets me in within a couple of days. I never feel rushed and I ALWAYS know what something is going to cost ahead of time. Usually, it's significantly less. Contrary to someone else's comment, YES, you CAN use your FSA or HSA money for their services. In my opinion, the membership cost is worth every penny!

I wish I could give this practice 5 stars. Actually had you asked me a year ago and it would have…read morebeen 5 stars. I love the practitioners. They are so caring, really take the time with you, and I never had a problem getting in at a reasonable time. But they really screwed over their patients going to the Direct Primary Care model. No matter how you slice it, the numbers don't make sense. You pay a monthly fee to remain a patient and get discounts on Services, some prescriptions, some labs. But they don't accept insurance. So you can't use your HSA and nothing goes towards your deductible. Even just allowing the use of the HSA would make it more reasonable. But, if you need any tests, surgery, or care beyond their capabilities you will need your regular insurance to be seen elsewhere. While the idea sounds good, it just costs more for the patients in the long run. Not to mention now we are left high and dry trying to find a new practitioner and most places are not accepting new patients because of the sudden influx of patients who left FPSJ.
