I've been trying to become a patient at this practice for the past eight weeks, and the experience…read morehas been incredibly frustrating. Despite multiple emails and voicemails--most of which have gone unanswered--I've received almost no communication. Erin spoke with me once during my initial outreach and seemed open to working with my insurance, but since then has consistently ignored my follow-ups. Even my care advocate has tried reaching out and hasn't heard back. Every few weeks I get a brief response, only to be ghosted again. At one point, Erin offered to remind me of the pricing--when I agreed, I never heard back. I had high hopes for this practice and have been transparent about how important these services are to me. But the lack of communication and follow-through has made it clear that patient care is not a priority here. I'd recommend looking for a practice with dedicated staff who can actually support new patients through the onboarding process.

I came here because I was having trouble with some communication speech issues after a concussion. I learned so much about my own brain worked and what could be done to help. It was a fun process getting my brain to rewire its communication. They use a variety of games and things to watch while I was hooked up to the equipment and I found it relaxing and fun. The professionalism and the level of caring for the patients is great and the team here will help you with your brain goals whether it is better learning and retention with school or recovery after any kind of injury, they do a great job.

This review is in regard to UCLA geriatric medicine physician Dr. C HARETTE. We were referred to…read morethis doctor after my mom was hospitalized at UCLA Santa Monica... the first appointment I could not be attend by myself as I was not well so I had the caregiver take my mom into the appointment and I was on the phone. The doctor made a huge deal that I did not come to the appointment even though I was present on the telephone throughout the entire visit. I should've known then that this wasn't going to work out. Later- here's the really bizarre thing after Dr. CHARETTE, had been my mothers doctor for several months, she seem to be doing an OK job. I wouldn't say it was outstanding., she decided to call the pharmacy that we used and then question the pharmacist if any other doctors were prescribing any medication, I was immediately alerted by the pharmacist, as I have a good relationship with them. Of course, the pharmacist told the doctor because she is a doctor, then later that week this doctor made her business to call my mother's specialists, to let them know that she was the head honcho... after these phone calls, two of the doctors would no longer speak to us so whatever transpired during these phone calls, they didn't want to get involved in. That was truly bizarre. This doctor was controlling, and it was always slightly rude to me. There was this underlying sense of pugnaciousness. I'd like to remind the reader that just because someone went to medical school does not mean they are mentally healthy. With all the bizarre things that this doctor Charette engaged in I don't think she's mentally well. I will also like to add while some people are very happy with the dementia care clinic that has nurse practitioners and they work hand-in-hand with this geriatric office that they continually tried to put my mother on hospice, my mother was walking talking and eating and her baseline was about a 4.0. she was participating in her physical therapy and she was watching television and sitting engaging most of the day, engaging with her family members and caregivers, the only problem she had was chronic urinary tract infections due to a catheter that was not needed. she then became colonized, which caused her to have chronic urinary tract infections. It's not welcome to suggest hospice to a patient that is clearly not actively dying yet hospice is abused by many health care personnel. Just because people are old doesn't mean they should be euthanized by hospice. I don't have the time or the emotional energy to deal with people like this doctor that are not helpful and not compassionate and caring with families that are dealing with the elderly.

Case in point, we were referred by a neurologist to have my wife see a psychologist with TBI experience. After 2.5 weeks, I was provided contact info with a psychologist that has ZERO experience with TBI. I tried calling UCLA Behavioral Health (301-301-2576) and again - could not get thru. They do mention a help line (424-535-2576) - which I called and complained that this UCLA organization is in a world of hurt. We'll see where it goes- I've started down another path- given up on UCLA Behavioral Health and Associates.

My son was receiving services from them for a year and half. Half way through his supervisor suddenly passed away and he was awesome ... my son's main therapist Ms Kim was also great. Scheduling was awful other therapist would call off often ... For at least five months there was no supervision. No progress my son regressed horribly. When a new supervisor finally came out even she was personally aware at how bad they dropped the ball with my son. She apologize several times and promised she would help make changes.... Only after a couple of weeks i noticed how she was full of broken promises as well... so I decided to take my son out the program and Ivet had the audacity to pin the task of retrieving a table that was recently bought for my child and toys WE PROVIDED on his therapist !!! When i let her know we would find services elsewhere she was careless. Over a month ago I called the company to request the latest report they made on my son to assist with applying for ihss services since they were the last took with him .... I was told someone would reach back out to me .... Never heard anything !!!! Please find a better organized company
