I truly don't know how our family would have navigated the past 5 years without Pathlight Home…read moreCare. I initially reached out to Stephanie in 2018 simply to provide transportation for my mother to/from doctor appts, shopping, etc. since my sister and I live out of state. Little did I know at that time, Stephanie and her team would become an integral part of my mom's life journey. My mom wasn't sure what to expect (nor did I), but we quickly grew to trust the team and my mom absolutely thrived under their care. She liked the independence and support that came with their visits and, at the same time, they were great listeners and advocated for her needs. As her health declined, my mother moved from an apartment to assisted living and eventually to a skilled nursing facility. Stephanie and Debbie were there every step of the way to support her in transition and to keep my sister and I informed of both her progress and any concerns that arose. In her last year, Debbie visited my mom several days each week, bringing her foods that she loved, helping her write holiday cards and notes to those she loved, reading/studying the bible with her, and spending quality with her. These visits meant the world to my mom and, in fact, they formed a bond so tight that Debbie spoke at my mom's funeral. We am SO incredibly grateful for the services and care that Pathlight provided for our mom. Their compassion and commitment to excellent care made this experience priceless. Words truly can't express how thankful I am that Stephanie and Debbie came into our lives and cared for our mom in her final years - I would HIGHLY recommend this dedicated team to anyone looking for a caregiver!

Visiting Angels - What a Great Company and Service!…read more I needed help taking care of my cousin who lived alone and I wasn't sure how to get that process started. This agency was awesome and I couldn't have done it without them. The people that helped me at Visiting Angels, organized everything. The schedulers were easy to contact and were always helpful. The caregivers were warm and attentive . They knew exactly what to expect with my cousin and her needs and informed me of every update, making sure she was safe the whole way. The price they charged me was reasonable as well. My experience with them showed that they would do whatever it took to make sure I was satisfied with their company and it really made a big difference. I absolutely recommend them.

I was referred to ETC by my doctor and scheduled for 12 visits to help with an ankle injury. When I…read morecalled to schedule my first appointment, they were very helpful and offered to email the preliminary paperwork to me so I could fill it out ahead of time. They worked with me to schedule my appointments so there was minimal time missed at the office and even provided a courtesy "reminder" call 24 hours in advance of each appointment. My injury left me with a large, golf ball size knot on my shin which after five weeks in a walking boot, was not going away. The thought of this knot being a permanent part of my leg was devastating, but after approx. five visits with Jay, it was gone! Jay, the physical therapist, has a wonderful demeanor, good sense of humor and professional attitude. He was sure to talk me through each step of the therapy including why he was doing it and the result it would have. I actually looked forward to my visits and when my twelve visits were complete, my ankle was back to normal. I've had no problems and continue to do the at-home exercises Jay suggested to get my strength back. I will not hesitate to recommend ETC in Blue Springs and although I hope I never have a need to return, I would look forward to it.
