This Keys institution is a leader in marine research and scientific support. They have state of the…read moreart (and being updated) coral raceways and tanks that can house many different kinds of corals in a UV-purified saltwater system. They also have a laboratory and classroom available. KML is located in the City of Layton, midway between Key Largo and Marathon in the Keys, making them a great stopping point for any research going on throughout the Keys. They've rehabilitated corals due to the coral disease event, housed rescue corals from FWC's coral rescue program, helped with coral spawning, and done much more critical research. And if the location and facilities weren't enough, the staff here are top notch. They are very knowledgeable experts in their fields and always available to lend a hand or advice. They're the kindest people and genuinely care about making our oceans healthier.

I am due for a routine mammogram, which my insurance covers. I already had the ultrasound scheduled elsewhere, but they still refused to provide the mammogram. This hospital does not seem to prioritize patient care, and it feels like they are more focused on overcharging locals rather than properly serving the community. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with this facility, and I believe it should be reevaluated for its practices.

He's got a great bedside manner and listened to me well. He didn't rush thru anything. I see him as my primary care doctor. He works in the Community Health of South Florida center in Tavernier. It's located in the Winn Dixie shopping center. I never knew he was there. Glad I found him!!

They opened promptly at 8 am checked me in and set me up with an awesome group of nurses and doctors. Got me running again in under an hour. Went here with a fractured fibula and Dr Diaz said that I needed immediate surgery and got his…read more"surgeon friend" on the phone to schedule a next day surgery for me at 6am. I was skeptical and got a second opinion with an ER doctor and an Orthopedic Surgeon whom both stated the injury will simply heal on its own and surgery is not necessary. Dr. Diaz suggested unnecessary surgery to get his friend some business. Disgusting.
