My husband suffered 2 gran mal seizures and the ambulance drivers sat in front…read moreof our house for 30 minutes after his second seizure to figure out if we were going to Nueva Córdoba or Cerro. A second ambulance arrived and nobody knew what they were doing. I saved my husband's life IN THE AMBULANCE on the way to Cerro. Once we got to Cerro it was a horrible experience. I was waiting to be told what to do while the doctor was first evaluating my husbands and a bunch of arrogant young men completely ignored me talking about anything other than admitting patients and doing customer service. THAT'S THEIR JOB!! I waited in front of them like an idiot for 15 minutes while everyone at the counter even the guard did absolutely nothing like a loss of someone's life wasn't important or urgent. Why is an emergency room called an emergency room when none of the employees move??? Or do their jobs? Or ignore their clients? After 15 minutes while I was waiting for their attention it was time for a new crew to come to work. One guy deliberately took his time packing up his backpack and turned his back to me knowing I needed urgent attention. The second team of workers did the same thing. Thankfully a lady in the waiting room told me that they could all f*ck off and run into the emergency room when the door was open and talk to the attending doctor. Thank God I did. Because it was after closing hours for Prevención Salud to approve anything I paid 200,000 pesos for stitches on my husbands lip that broke immediately. Really great doctors and medical staff. The rest of these reviews are lies or very lucky people. They treated me like garbage and my husband too at both Nueva Córdoba and Cerro. The medical industry in Córdoba is absolutely shameful. And I'm neighbors with the employees. They even ignore me when I ask for which is the best emergency room or tiny emergency receta. My husband and I are both Argentine citizens too. If you want any medical treatment done at least go to BsAs or better yet the USA. This country has the worst education system and the most lazy doctors and nurses I have ever witnessed. I've traveled to many other countries worse than Argentina and they had better medical care. Last piece of information the food delivery in the morning for my husband was already eaten by another patient and bits of food were spit out. An Allende family member said we lied. Can you believe that???
