Terrible, unpleasant, no good, very bad experience. I'd been a client for a few months. Making…read moreappointments was dramatic and time consuming (leave a message with one number, they might call you back in a week via another constantly changing number...they never answer the phone when you call...who are these people? Drug dealers?). Once they tried to sell me some "fallen off the truck" makeup, the security tags from Sephora still attached! Every appointment I did manage to make was a huge disappointment, no a/c (so you melt into the tables in the musty basement), the manager yelling at her employees while she violently pulls out your lashes by the root (Overall the staff has a big attitude problem. They do not care about their clients in the least, which is troubling, as a misstep around your eyes could cause serious health problems). The quality of their work was never good or consistent, I considered myself lucky if half my lashes didn't fall out in the following 72 hours (I'm guessing they don't always use fresh adhesive). My lashes were often uneven between eyes, or had big clumps randomly attached.They accept no credit cards, or checks, cash only (Tax evasion?). It's a cheap salon for a reason! I'd say you get what you pay for, but in a lot of cases you get nothing for your money at Jolicils, a lot of my appointments were cancelled or moved last minute by them with a few hours warning at most, no apology, and no alternative solutions offered...which was really unprofessional to say the least, especially with all the drama just booking in the first place. If you have no other options, try this place at your own risk, but be warned--they can't be trusted. I regret ever going here and am actively looking elsewhere. If you can, stay away and save yourself the headache and wasted money.
